I like ties by Leonard of Paris, they are too loud for most guys but I dig them, they also glow under black lights |

Ricky, I have several tailored Brioni suits and several tailored shirts from them, even one tie (which isnt tailored just normal length). To be honest I really like them. Most clothes for the suits I have are from England. Superior handmade craftmanship and the suits really fit like you have never worn everything else. Pretty expensive though not as much as Kiton. Brioni is definitely one of the best companies in the world refering to tailored suits IMO. They have a nice store in Rome where you can tailor your suit and pick it up after 48 hours or so. Amazing for that quality and not possible with the tailors in London. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller P.S. If you really want to spent several thousands of dollars for a tailored dress go for Brioni or Kiton or to Londons Savile Row (Gieves and Hawkes is a good choice!) |

Until the recent run up in the Euro, I always found it practical to buy suits in Roma, you just need to stay away from the touristy places. I have tried Armani and D&G. Brionis are really nice as well. Unfortunally with the Euro going from .85 cents to 1.09 in the last year or two, what used to be a bargin is pretty much equal to what you pay here in NY. |

i'm a kiton fan, but can't really help you with new york. Louis Boston is one of the finest men's stores on planet earth - well worth a trip up from the city (hop the train - we can grab lunch) IMO. doody. |

Rick, I have a number of Brionis. They, kiton and Oxxford are the best you can buy. James Bond wears them. They show that you have style and appreciation for the finer things in life (like fcars!). |

I used to buy Bronis, but found a good tailor with a great fabric selection. I still have a few in inventory, but only wear them in winter. They look great, but clearly show what they are, and therefore I can't wear them in court at trial. Art |

I have Kiton, Brioni, and Oxxford. Love them all--but they are all very different. I am thin/borderline skinny, so this helps them look better. Not sure your build, but I would discourage Kiton or Brioni if you are, um, "stout". Sorry, no experience with NYC tailors... |

Ricky, Although I haven't bought a good suit in a long while I have several Zena's and Brioni's in my wardrobe from a few years ago. try them both as I find them quite differnt in feel and style. To me Zena's seem a bit more sporty and young, while the Brioni seemed a bit more for older folks. I was in my early 30's when I bought most of these suits and I think the Zena's still look modern and wouldn't look out of place today. Some of the Brioni's I have look a bit dated. Either one is top notch but try both. As for Oxford, I have two of them (business suits) and while they look great they are not as comfortable as the other two. Regards, Jon P. Ricky Brioni and Kiton are wonderful, fantastic fabrics and feel. Try Oxxford as well. For casual clothes, Luciano Barbera can't be beat. Don't even get me started on good shoes. My advice, STAY AWAY.....fine clothes are worse than drugs. |

I have a Brioni- Dark Brown with thin gold stripes. Wonderful fabric that never wrinkles-and is very light. However, I have to say that my favorite suits are Zegna and Armani. |

i figure there must be some pretty well dressed guys lurking around and wondering if anyone has a Kiton or Brioni and any comments? I have always worn Zegna and Canali. Also, who is a good custom tailor in NYC that can make suits from scratch? |
