im wondering if many of these guys fighting us are all the extremist wackos that have come to Iraq from the other arab countries, if so this could be a good thing, if were going to take out the garbage we might as well take it all out

also ive heard that the reason these guys are fighting to the end is because when the war is over and the Iraqy people get ahold of them there history anyway

I'm betting, extremist groups aside, that none of those countries is going to want to engage in military action, North Korea included. You guys should be watching Fox News, rather than CNN. Much more upbeat; footage of protests only shows the cops thrashing them, etc. As TomD said, when you own the TV channel, you get the news you want to watch.

the King of Jordan has stated that the "US action is an invasion" . Syrian Pres feels the same way & may have sent supplies. I REALLY hope this doesnt escalate. This could become VERY messy if Syria, Jordan, & Iran decide to side with Iraq.

Then of course we have the N Koreans who are idiots.

Is this the begining of WW3 ? Who wants to move down to Buenos Aires with me for a few years ?

"They may hate Saddam but if you hated the President would you love foreigners invading your country ?"

That is a problem, many of the people seem patriotic to their country. I've been wondering if many of these soldiers in civilian clothes weren't just civilians taking up arms. If another country invaded the US there would be plenty of people with guns in civilian clothes fighting in the war.

when you control the media, you control your peoples' view, secondly many folks got murdered in 91 when we left them hangin, so it may take a little more for them to welcome us

If it occurred during the Clinton years, maybe.

Seems its about time we have one.

Lately I'm concerned about news that Syria & Iran have been sending supplies & some Syrian & Iranian citizens or soldiers seem to be making their way to Iraq.

Also saw on CNN that more & more iraqis see the US not as Liberators but as attackers.

They may hate Saddam but if you hated the President would you love foreigners invading your country ?

I recognize the importance of this war for the US & the west but it could easily expand or quagmire. I hope its swift & merciful to all sides
