Steve - thanks for the tip. Feel like a simian, knuckle-dragging idiot (I was filling in all the fields on the page - probably conducting the most narrow search possible). Now I know :-) |

Chris -- Do a search on "Passport Horseless" (OR mode) and you should get plenty of previous discussion. |

I know this has come up many times, but didn't pull any hits on a transport search - sorry Rob. I need to transport a vehicle I am purchasing from Houston, TX to Los Angeles, and would prefer it enclosed. Does anyone have any recommendations and/or advice? A few of our crew shipped their vehicles out from Los Angeles to location on our latest film and the way they arrived was appalling! It definitely freaked me out about trusting "just anyone". The cars looked abused, were dirty as hell, had small scratch marks throughout, and one had a flat tire and another had a dead battery (presumably because they set-off his alarm). Yikes! Not to mention, they just sat around in a lot that resembled an impound lot for days (and some weeks) at a time waiting to ship out. As always, thanks in advance for your time, ~Chris |
