Thanks Ralph. I already have a Lambo guy in mind. I was more interested in someone who has done purchases on restoration type cars before. I want to have a buyer's expertise. What is a proper amount to offer etc. Cheers |

Greetings. I heard Wil De Groot in Pennsylvania does hi-end restorations. Might also talk with Jim Kaminsky in Florida. He runs the Lamborghini Owners Club. Look under Lamborghini Cars website. Check under the links. Also check the International Lamborghini Registry. You owe it to yourself to check it out first. I believe Mr. Wil De Groot will get on an airplane for you. Ralph |

Whart, I have already spoken to Bob Wallace. He would only do the engine work. Al Burtoni in Gilroy is too busy to pick his nose. I was hoping to get an armchair mechanic who can throw his 2 cents and just give it a quick overlook. Either that or a fellow car enthusiast who might have some things to say, even if he isn't exactly mechanically inclined. My purpose is to take extensive photos and email them to a restoration shop I'm thinking of hiring should I get the car. Cheers |

The man hisself is somewhere outside Scottsdale, Az. That is, Bob Wallace. Dunno whether he still takes clients. The other guy to touch base with is Al Burtoni in Gilroy Ca., outside of San Jose. |

I'm thinking of taking a day trip (I'll spend the night and leave in the morning) to Vegas so that I may take some pics of a vintage Lamborghini I'm thinking of purchasing. Anyone in the Vegas area familiar with classic italians? Even better, anyone know Lamborghinis? I figure we can meet up and you could help me looking at the car while I take some pics of it and help answer some questions I may not know the answer to when it comes to restoring etc. I'm looking at a 67 350 GT that will need a complete restoration. I showed some interest earlier last month and posted online, but didn't really get anywhere. Cheers |
