Good choice Luke. The Venetian is a great place.

Problem with Mandalay Bay/4 Seasons is that you get a greenish tint to the entire room during the day. That said, 4 Seasons service is top notch. We made reservations to sold out shows, booked restaurants, etc and we were accomodated. Cheers |

Bellagio is a ripoff...we have had poor service there twice in suites. We stay at Mandalay or Mirage now. (Mirage for us, Mandaly when we have kids...) - JMG |

stayed at PARIS last Nov and had a good time. Nice rooms, view to the Bellagio fountain and upper floor. I loved the bistros downstairs. Great place to hang and watch people, get some bread from the Boulangerie and sip a drink in a caffe. Bellagio is super fancy. The fountain is breathtaking. They are really all great! |

Most of the well known places on the strip are ok. Here's my opinion on the hotels: Top tier: Bellagio Venetian Mandalay Bay/Four Seasons Next tiers: Ceasar's MGM Mirage Luxor Next tiers: Treasure Island Hard Rock Etc... Have fun!! |

Excitement: jet skis on Mead, skydiving, and a day with a 360 Spider. Thanks again, Luke. |

Have fun! If you like bikes make sure you stop by Art of the Motorcycle exhibit in the Venetian. When exactly are you going? Business or pleasure? Cheers |

What about the Mustang Ranch? It's just a few minutes from town, and there are lots of nice amenities... |

Mandalay Bay is awesome but probably the most expensive, but the Luxor next door is great room rates and good location. |

I LOVED the Belaggio (sp?) But to be honest, the best shops and ambiance I found in Caesar?s. Loved those high vaulted ceilings and the shops at the forum!!! DrS |

Venetian is my favorite, sometimes you can get good prices at the Luxor. |

Palms is off strip and not worth a visit in my opinion. It's one of the newer hotels but it's a cab ride away from just about everything. What you pay in cabs, put towards a room and you'll get a good place in the strip. Not that the Palms are cheaper than strip hotels, by the way. |

An explanation... The reason I feel the Venecian is moderately priced is because you get a suite for a comparably priced regular room in other nice hotels on the strip. If you want to be at less money, the Aladdin is a good choice. Also in the middle of everything and the rooms are not bad at all. Cheers |

Venecian. Cool rooms and close to just about every casino on the strip. |

I'm looking for a moderately priced but hip place to stay in Vegas this Memorial Day. Proximity to the Strip a real plus! Any ideas? Luke. |
