Certainly not making fun. I guess that happens when there's no inflection. It was meant to be complimentary. My only criticism is the location of your hands:-)

Oh, and for the last time...

I'm not against ricers. Much like Hugh, I own a Japanese car (Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, Hugh has a Honda Prelude). As a matter of fact I should take some pics of the car my buddy in Taiwan are working on. We bought an RX-7 R2 from an auction in Japan and have so far put a good chunk of change on the suspension. Next is stripping the interior and adding a roll cage. The challenge is to figure out how to optimize the rotary engine without killing oil consumption. Don't take this too defensively. But living in the Bay Area there are many situations like the one I discribed in the beginning of this post.

Frau...

It's a digital camera...point and shoot...don't have to look through the little hole see...

Look at the last pic. I don't have an eyeball on my forehead. Isn't technology wonderful?

The camera has this Mpeg feature. Let's you make it into a video camera. These are some excerpts from about eight seconds of footage.

CHILL!

Ask the other drivers on the road that day who the horse's ass was. Read the story too... Might give you an insight about this not being my first reaction but my inclination to do so was to get this fool off my back.

Cheers

I have taken photos while driving, I'm in control when I do it & make sure it's safe to. I also sometime keep the camera with me in case of a "odd event."

Example:
Here's a friend of mine that I photograghed driving on the Beltway 8 in Houston.

Man this world is just getting crazy! I like the idea of taking photos of that guy. Maybe we should all start keeping mounted dash cams to record these idiots, track their license plates and send a copy to their insurance companies and/or authorities!

Sorry, just pissed off when I hear these things. Can't wait to see what I'm in for once I start driving my M3!

Not a ricer story, but a week before the Valentines Day before last, a friend wrecked his new WRX trying to show off and wrapped it around a pole. Minor scrapes and bruises was all for him and passenger, car written off, insurance now burying him...

So, he's a bit sour and putting around in a CRX. His work has been difficult during the week as well, so you'd be in a bad mood, right? Traffic is thick and a lot of people lose their cool in traffic. A pickup truck cuts him off, so he lays on the horn, flips the guy off. Traffic moves again, the guy stays put, my friend flips him off again and starts shouting. So, the truck began to move again to catch up with traffic and he followed a couple car lengths behind. Once traffic came to a halt again, the truck driver hops out and accosts my friend, who has the windows down. They exchange words and the truck driver immediately goes to open the door and reach for the lock. My friend holds on for dear life (he's a mouse like me.. he's 5'9" and maybe 160lbs soaking wet). The guy notices traffic moving in front of them, but no one around them are doing anything, staring at this happening in the middle of a 5 lane highway. The truck driver throws an insult, lets go and begins to turn away. My friend glances in his rear view mirror and when he looks back, he got a knuckle sandwich right in his temple and grazes his eye. He figures he blacked out for a good 10 seconds, sprawled over the center console/passengers seat. When he came to and looked up, the truck was already in gear and 100ft away.

So, it pays to be careful!

I think it's best just to ignore these idiots altogether. Haven't been back to the states for a while, but I have heard dangerous encounters where pissed off drivers pulled out guns, not just fingers.

"Next time blow him a kiss!"
Hahaha that's a good one. I'll have to remember that.

"What was he thinking !!??"
Maybe he thought that the Cabriolet mechanism and the 4 wheel drive added 15 thousand kilos to the weight of the car, giving him a shot. Oh, and note the stickers in the car. I'm sure that gives him another 50 bhp.

Point is these morons don't think. At least this idiot gave up. There have been many times where I have to really slow down until they lose interest.

On my merry way home when a bright blue Honda Civic Si blasts past me, cuts in front and hits the brakes.

OK, stupid driver, no big deal... I keep plodding along when Horse's Ass decides to slow down his car even further (left lane) and then speed up. Slow down, then speed up. I don't like passing on the right so I just switch one lane to the right and resume my normal driving. Horse's Ass slows enough for me to pass him and gets right behind me, and I mean RIGHT behind me. I accelerate to about 100 and leave him in my wake, although I can hear poor Horse's Ass' little four banger stressing to accelerate (hahaha).

OK, game over, I slow again. Horse's Ass decides the first victory was a fluke and flies past me on the left lane with his middle finger extended.

Now I'm kinda pissed so I gun it, and record it on my camera while I laugh. Horse's Ass is thoroughly embarassed I documented his defeat and gives up pursuit.

Note the traffic. This kind of behavior is DANGEROUS. Anyway, enough was enough. Also, this is my reason for hating "ricers".
