If you want to consider Mexico, think of Ventanas al Paraiso resort in the left side of the country. Cheers |

I'm off to St. John tomorrow, one of my favorite islands. For a honeymoon I'd say St John, Virgin Gorda, Anguilla, or Antigua. Try Caneel Bay on St John, Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda, the Sonesta on Anguilla and St James Club on Antigua. The Sandals resorts are great fun, but are quite a bit busier. |

I second Jim S' recommendation for Cancun/Playa del Carmen area of Mexico.. VERY BEAUTIFUL and the people everywhere are outgoing and friendly. We stayed at the Iberostar Parasiso/Del Mar, it was kinda pricy but overall it was fab stay (5star). Lots of stuff to do in the surrounding area: Local villages & shops provide great deals, and the Mayan ruins (Itza, Coba & Tulum) should not be missed. It is a quick trip and close to US/Canada. Good luck and best wishes! Ryan |

Try the Mediterranean too. Flights should be comparatively cheap and you can do a lot of stuff on the side. Not just a beach. Cheers |

If you have the time/money, try the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean. Went there some years ago and it was the best vacation of my life. The most amazing water with the most amazing beaches. It's probably become a little more populated etc since I was last there, but still very uncommercial compared to places like Hawaii and the Carribean. I'm going there for my honeymoon (whenever that is ). |

St. Barth's is good in the caribbean. I went all over asia and one of my favorite places was Bali. The 4 seasons resorts there are nice. I don't know about the political climate for U.S. passport holders though. Jamaica was nice, but it's a resort only type of place. You don't want to go explore and stray. I also had a great time in St. Maarten, which is a very close to St. Barth's. Nice beaches and nice people. You also have a great choice. If you hate the French, just drive (short drive) over to the Dutch side which is also quite nice! One of the most important things will be the resort. Depending on what your budget is there is a lot of variety. Cheers |

oh and our total air and everything was $2100. Of course we spent elsewhere, but you don't have to if you don't want to. |

Friends went to Sandals all inclusive in Jamaica on theirs and loved it. We went to Playa del Carmen area south of Cancun to www.palaceresorts.com and stayed at all inclusive Aventura Palace. Brand new Spa Palace on the same property. The ladies LOVE that place. We had a blast and met some really cool people. |

Italy. Caribean is over rated, IMO. But then again, I generally don't like tourist spots. Congrats on your wedding though. |

Hey everybody... My fiance and I are trying to figure out where to go for our honeymoon in November. I was shooting for Australia, but neither of us will be able to take that much time from work since travel will be time consuming. I had also though about Hawaii, but have been told that November is not the best time of year there. So, I am now considering the Carribean - St Lucia, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, etc... Anybody have any good recommendations as far as locations and resorts (like Sandals)? I would apprecicate the help. Thanks.
