Keeping a Pantera original will no have no significant impact on resale value. Matter of fact, a bone stock, all original Pantera will probably be much harder to sell, as most Panteras have upgraded brakes, AC, radiators, etc. There is no "best year" to buy. In terms of bone stock, yes, the Pantera decreased in power over the years due to US restrictions, but most everyone has tuned their engines beyond these restrictions over the years. |

What's your budget? I am very familiar with them. You can email me privately at [email protected] if you choose. |

My preference lies with the Mangusta, not the Pantera. I think the Mangusta has much cleaner lines and an undiluted visceral look to it. Tjaarda's design gets watered down if you will in the later iterations. For resale reasons (which you mentioned as something of importance to you) I would personally go with an original. If you want to make upgrades, you can go ahead with them. Just keep the original parts and make sure you can put them back for someone who is interested in an original car as well. Cheers |

What is the best year to buy? Upgrade or original? Are they reliable? How is the resale? |
