For all those that are planning to participate in the parade- I just received
final instructions from The West-End Association.
1. Arrival begins at 6:00 PM ( if you have not checked in by 7:30PM, you risk
losing your place in the Parade). We, the Club, need time to attach balloons
and stuff to your car.
2. Check in will be at McKinney and Lamar
3. Rules and Regulations per City Ordinance:
All drivers must have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance. You
are required to show these items at check-in.
No candy or material may be thrown along the Parade route.( I have asked
for clarification on this - we can distribute and hand out beads but not
throw.
Silly string and squirt guns are prohibited

Cory,
If you turn right @ hooters the parking area where we set up is normally on the right just down the street from hooters. I will post more information this weeekend. You will see all kinds of vehicles, hooters... setup there. |

Does anyone know the meeting place before the parade for the West End Mardi Gras shindig?..I'd like to join if there is room. I've got an old ferrari with a large trunk and back seat so it can haul a lot of beads...Thanks, Cory |

I just learned of this group last night at Carsons. Any room left for cars at the Mardi Gras parade? I have an early 330 GT 2+2 and would like to join if there is room. If so, please forward some details (meeting place, time) Thanks, Cory |

If you plan on attending please let me know ASAP. We need to give the parade people a number of cars. One reminder, if you plan to attend bring plenty of beads (you won't be sorry..) |
