Jim, yes that was me in the yellow '98 355F1 GTS parked by the front door Sat. night.

My wife and I immediately ran into 2 couples we hadn't seen is some time and ended up partying with them. Sorry I missed meeting everybody.

Next time for sure.

Regards, Chris

Yes, it was Mark's, he was talking about the Pantera club. Funny, Mark was there and also Bob's brother has a Pantera and was there.

The yellow 348 may have been Mark LaCroix's as seen at: http://www.dfwpanteras.com/Muenster.htm

I thought I was leaving work early at 4:30 to beat the traffic. I just got home, it took me 5 hours! And I had to walk the last 1/2 mile, my BMW couldn't get up the White Chapel hill. I would of been better staying on 114, that would of only taken 2-3 hours, but tried to be smart and went up north off 114, then 635 was backed up, so I went residential through Coppell and that was my downfall.

Nice weather tonight in NorthEast Tarrant County. Anyone ever put snowchains on a 360?

Dear Rob,
Sorry I missed the excitement Saturday night. My son's select hockey team unexpectedly got into the finals , and I already had the Gremlin all polished up. The pictures look like it was a great event. Now that hockey season is over I am looking forward to more F events. I can hardly wait for the next Karting event, especially if the new Karts are in.
I just sent in some info for the raceteam. Looks like a wonderful opportunity. I would love to be involved, I could use it for marketing to my referring Docs.
Drive carefully going home, it is slick out 1709.

Actually, the sultana borrowed it for a weekend trip to Cancun. She promised to bring it back, along with a box of Cohiba Esplendidos. She still isn't back, but I'm sure she's just delayed....

Looks like a great turnout and a good time. Unfortunately, I had some family issues arise that kept me from coming. Hopefully, I will get to come to the next one.

Loved all the yellow! whose yellow 348 was that? As I was leaving saw a yellow 355 parking. Was that you Chris Burch?

Also, I left Poker Run fliers on your seats or windshields. Hope that didn't bother you, but wanted to be sure everyone was aware of it. Jano is our first official registrant so he gets the early bird prize!

Looks like an even better turnout than the December one. Good deal. I wasn't able to make it due to work, and the Pantera was in the shop (got it back today--runs better than it ever has). I'll try making the next one.

The Maserati...is it a Ghibli I see in the pictures (hard to tell)?

Couldn't stay as I was sick and had 2 kids with me. However, thanks to Jano, Rob and Greg for allowing them to sit in your cars and thanks to Jano for the rides around the parking lot. They loved it and will surely remember it forever. Also, thanks to Ken for the framed F50 and 911 pics. They carried them into their house like trophies. One of the kids even wore his dad's ferrari watch with no battery. Here are some pics I took as well.

That '89 yellow 328 is beautiful... the guy who owned it in Plano (original owner) wasn't ready to sell when I was ready to pull the trigger 4 years ago. I saw it when it was parked at Home Depot in '98 and we spent a half hour talking about 328s... good education for me at the time. It only has 12K miles.... VERY nice!

Good eyes, you can barely see it in the back there. It's actually a prestine 1989 328 GTS. First time I've seen it, Bob had seen it when looking for his Ferrari years ago.

I had intended to be there, but wound up riding to the airport with a friend. On the ride home, I couldn't convince him to stop by for a beer. I need new friends!

Sorry I missed it, looks like a great turnout. Is that a yellow 308 I see? Who does it belong to?

Thanks everyone for coming. It was yet another good turnout. To the best of my memory

(3) 308's
(3) 328's
(3) 348's
355
Testarossa

Another 355 and Testarossa showed up later, but I don't know if they were in our group.

1 Masseratti, 1 Porsche, 5 Vipers, and 3 Lotus.

Please send me feedback for the event. Always interested in improving it. BTW, we had over 50 people total in attendance. What do you think about trying out another location? I was not happy Carsons messed up the reservation and I wouldn't mind trying some nice dinning places.

This is shapping up to be a well attended event. I flew back to Dallas last night in the rain and was worried that we might not get a good turnout due to crappy weather, but it looks great out there this morning. See you all tonight.

When: Saturday, February 22, 6pm.

Where: Carsons Palace
17727 Dallas Pkwy.
Suite #150
Dallas, TX 75287
972.931.9111
http://www.carsonspalace.com/

What: DFW Exotic Car Nights #3. Mingle among the cars at 6pm and then we'll go inside for a sit down dinner. Die hards will stay late into the night dancing to the live band.

Over 11 Ferraris attended each of the first two events. I expect 15-20 this time around. Carsons is very Ferrari friendly as we'll get the first few rows for parking and they'll provide security the entire night. The word has got out what a fun event this is. Here are some pics from the first two events...

http://www.fcadfw.com/events/exotic_car_night_01.htm

http://www.fcadfw.com/events/exotic_car_night_02.htm

I sent the local FCA calendar out last night in an email, if you didn't receive anything and you're interested in FCA DFW events, please let me know so I can add you to the list.

Thanks,
rob
