FoH guys are having a drive in Houston, so my friends bailed out on me for the weekend. We are going to move it into May and try to get a more formalized group together. Sorry for the run around.

I feel really really wierd and shallow for asking this(in fact my palms are REALLY sweaty typing this) but could I get a ride in one of your buddies or your F-cars? I would be forever gratefull and happy if this were possible, if not.

Paul,
I would love to go cruise with you guys, as long as you guys dont mind me not having an F-car yet. I am in college and cant afford one yet, but as soon as I get a good job, I am going to buy one. My dad has had several F-cars. I have a 2001 SS camaro, and a 1968 Firebird 400. Like I said, if you and your friends dont mind, I would LOVE to follow you guys in my SS. The hillcountry is NICE. I am located in Waco, so it is only an hour drive to Austin.

I can probably make it--the most difficult part is not forgetting--the second is some already forgotten wifely duty.

Jim, thanks for the invite. I will be there for sure if my wife has no serious objections. I am not trying to do anything formal, I happen to have two friends with F-Cars and they will both be in Austin that weekend with their cars. I let my FCA membership lapse after I sold my 355, you know the poseur factor and all that nonsense. If I have to rejoin that is not a problem. If any of you ever get to Austin, I try to go on a drive every Saturday, even if I am alone.

Hook up with Dave, he runs the FCA in Austin. I know there's also a few things out of Houston. What city are you in?

I am still living the wrath of a friend and 360 owner for selling my 355 2 years ago. Anybody want to do a drive in April with a few of my Porsche friends and Ferrari friends. I have a buddy in SA with a near perfect 308 and one in Houston with a 360. We are trying to have a get together near the end of April. Drive then beers at my house.
