Just a reminder for April 27th. This should be one of the nicest shows of the year with over 200 cars. We have gotten press for this show. We are also in the process of dropping an additional 200 flyers in the mail. |

I'm planning on being there. Don't think many others in the Pantera club will make it out. Many will either be at the Big Bend Open Road Race, or in Vegas for the annual Pantera gathering. |

For more information check the MAFFIA Car Club web site @ http://www.maffiacarclub.com The MAFFIA Car Club will be participating in the Italian Class @ All British Car Day at White Rock Lake, 19th Annual Exposition of Vintage European (Especially British) Cars and Motorcycles. Last years show saw more than 200 cars. Come out and join us for our annual celebration of vintage motoring. Bring any British or European vehicles that you care to display and compete for door prizes and trophies. This event is open to show vehicles, �drivers�, and everything in between. Prizes will be awarded based on popular voting by participating vehicle owners. This event is low key and casual. Arrive and leave whenever you want. Bring a picnic basket, a servant with formal table and linens, or buy a hot dog when you get there. The location is green and peaceful, so plan a lazy day in the park. Most of the spectators are fellow enthusiasts, so there�s never been an instance of theft or damage. When: Sunday, April 27th, 2003 (May 4th has been selected as a rain-out day). Where: White Rock Lake Park in Dallas, Texas. Vehicles will be displayed in an open grassy area on the west of E. Lawther Drive. The display area entrance will be marked with orange traffic cones. Although Lawther Drive encircles the lake, there are a number of roadblocks. The park is easily accessed from the north on Lake Highlands Drive at Buckner Boulevard or from the south on Poppy Drive (behind Doctors Hospital). Time Schedule: Registration will open at 10:00 AM. Vehicles may be registered up until 2:00 PM. We will begin counting the votes at 3:00 PM, with door prize drawings and award presentations at 3:30 PM. (If you need to leave early and win a trophy, I�ll make arrangements to deliver it to you). Entry Fee: $10 covers your first vehicle registration and a dash plaque (while they last). Each additional vehicle is $5. We�ll have hats for sale at $10 each (while they last). Spectator admission is free and open to the public. Awards: There will be a drawing for door prizes will be and you must be present to win. Trophy plaques (gold, silver, and bronze) will be awarded based upon participant voting in the following classes: Austin-Healey, Jaguar, Lotus, MG, Mini, Morgan, Sunbeam, Triumph, Other British Cars, German Cars, Italian Cars, Other Non-British Cars, and Motorbikes. Each voter will select his favorite from each class, and cast a vote for �Best Of Show�. There will also be a �Club Participation� plaque for the club represented by the most vehicles, so let�s make sure that the MAFFIA Car Club is well represented!
