When I left the bar, I ran into a little rain on Plano Pkwy, but nothing major. The roads weren't all that wet either. So it must have all been south of Plano.

When Greg, Ron and Steph headed East on Campbell, the railroad crossing was down. No train, but road blocks were down. They had to get out, hold the blocks up so others could drive through, then keep going. I guess they were stuck there a while. Then Greg got lost.

Tillman, you were lucky, I hit the hail driving south. That was good fun in a new car. Too bad there aren't a lot of gas stations in that part of town along Coit. Luckily, no damage, but it sure was interesting driving through the 3 inches of water on the road.

You guys who were at that bar would appreciate this. When I left, I was out of the rain by the time I hit 190 (2-3 blocks north), and didn't see a drop the whole way home. The lightning south of me was very cool to watch.

It's already been on the schedule to do D&B's next month. The remaining months this year are still open for ideas. Maybe Speedzone again?

I don't know about lunch right now. I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing with the truck right now. I'm probably going to eat here and then take off early this afternoon to go to Jano's. I like the idea of getting together for lunch, just probably not today.

I think it was being rear ended while I in was putt putt mode and you were at full speed that gave me my sore back. The blocking and spinning part was fun.

"Ouch. My back hurts. I'll blame Jayson."

I got tired of being spun out while I was blocking, so I just HAD to get the wider cart. That was a lot more fun then just circling the track. The only time somebody got past me was when I was blocking two carts.

I had to get up and pretend I was fine so wife wouldn't catch on.

We could go to Hooters! Great wings and scenery. Greg might meet his future wives there.

Ouch. My head hurts. I'll blame JimS and Greg.

Ouch. My back hurts. I'll blame Jayson.

Ouch. My wrist hurts from pushing that damn wire.

Rack Daddy's blows. Fox and Hound rules.

Rob, I think we could've covered you on beer for an evening, that's no longer a valid excuse for you.

last night was pretty fun. some of us didn't race cars, we just hung out over at Rack Daddy's. Went back to Rack Daddy's for dinner which was pretty bad. Microwaved chicken wings are not the best. But jason provided some pizza.

We were talking and most agreed that we really just want to get together to hang out and have something to do. We don't really have to do go carts. I think that place is losing interest as the carts aren't really fast.

We should go back out to Cool River to give you Las Colinas types a closer venue and we can hang there. What about a driving range? Any interesting car museums or something we could look at? Sneaky Petes?

Basically meet and do something for a bit then have dinner/drink and chit chat.

Uhh ohhh, Mr. Finance major just messed up on his personal finances. I just got nailed with several online bills at once and since I don't have a credit card I'm SOL. Sorry I can't make it, but that's a good thing as I shouldn't feel like I have to attend every single event anyway. Athough I do.

Have fun and remember to squeeze the wire to bypass the governor.

LOL Keith! You don't know this, but there's a huge story behind TBC. Short story is we use to do our second Tuesday's there, karts went downhill, management went downhill, and they started booking on top of us. I stepped up for good or bad and directly told them they needed to get their act together. I guess the answer was they didn't want to get their act together and we're no longer welcome there. Although I go back there with the SCCA meetings now and then to spite them. With some good management and upkeep of the karts that place could be world class.

yes we were there prior to this. had issues with consistent cart performance, double booking on nights we were there etc. after heated exchanges they finally asked us to not come back!

Karting starts at 7pm either way. If you don't see me in the cages, I'm at the bar with Greg.

Are you bringing the kids Jim? If so, I'll just stay over there then. Greg was maybe coming too and we were going to get a couple beers ahead of time, makes it that much more fun. Actually, Putt Putt may be fun too.

Rob, why don't you just start at the batting cages, that way we won't have to wait for you!

Tillman, the sun came out about 30 mins after I got work. Still kicking myself for not driving the Ferrari.

OK, I'm going to hit the bar just South of the track arriving 6:15 and 6:30. I'll just park where we did and walk there along the street. I'll walk back over to the track about 7:00. Anyone can join me at the bar if they want.

I want to do the batting cages too. I can pitch, but trust me, I can't bat worth anything.

I'm guessing it will be closer to 6:30 when I get there. I'll go by the bar first and if you're there, I'll stop. If not, I'll go to the track.

Jano and Jim, what time are you going over?

If 6pm we should meet in the bar next door. If 7pm we'll just meet at the track.
