Area 51 has top secret security.

NO PHOTOS - You will be arrested

One other quick question, for the people who are watching my posts.

Why can't you come to me directly with a problem?
Is it necessary to have Rob or Grady speak to me on your behalf?

... just asking.

Dale, thank you for the applaud. Always appreciated.

I always look before I leap.

My main statements below were in regards to some pictures of a wrecked 360 that I found on another forum (hence the "I didn't take" statement). Apparently there was more talk about those from people who do not post on this board, but they were upset about them and decided to basically black list me. Now my posts are "monitored" by faceless people who choose to sit there and alert their fellow FCA members about my attendance to an event. Oh well.

In regards to what you're referring to, yes, that was my fault. I was invited to a tour of FoH, I took pictures, I posted them w/ a URL tag - end of story. However, I still maintain the fact that I was never told about not posting pictures online. I suppose now it's common sense, but at the time I was new to the community and didn't know a whole lot about FCA, FoH, or Ferraris in general - only that I wanted one.

Eh, outlaw? Perhaps, but I don't consider myself one.

Enjoy the north, Dale. I cannot wait until I get the chance to move back! This Houston humidity is starting to get to me!

Jason, I am under the impression that you are young and just starting your own business, for which I applaud you. However, you may want to consider looking before you leap when you start making public statements.

Regarding the "incident" at FOH, I wasn't there. However, I have heard from several people who were there that the group was told that it was okay to take pictures. However, FOH specifically asked everyone not to post pictures on the Internet.

Who knows, maybe you didn't hear that, but several other folks have told me that they did.

Thus, when you posted pictures on your website, FOH was upset. Maybe you may felt that FOH was being a horsey's hinney, but it turns out that FOH has several very good reasons for wanting to protect the privacy of their customers.

Perhaps the most important is that there are many people who troll for Ferrari license plate numbers so they can look up who owns the car in order to make a sales pitch for something or the other to the owner. This is why the FCA club doesn't want pictures of license plates posted. It is also why FCA will not make it membership list public.

Frankly, speaking from a sample size of one, I'm glad that FOH and FCA are protective of my privacy. I'd be upset if they didn't.

So if you made a mistake, fine. Just fess up and move on. But I think that you're compounding your original mistake by trying to create a public image of being a "FOH outlaw."

Just my 2 cents and some change because I'm outta here headed to Yankee land.

Dale

The only reason they would kick me out is for some pictures that I posted that got their panties twisted.

(I didn't even take some of the pictures!!)

Jason you would be what Nebulaclass referred to
as a "Jackoff." ~ A person that parks the
Toyota and walks in. Just make sure you wear
at least Italian Sunglasses.

Still haven't seen an Enzo in person, but I'd probably get kicked out of F0H if they knew who I was.

How many Enzos are in Houston?
I know of one in River Oaks, but since it was there last night, it is not the same... Therefore at least 2!!
Peter, do you have the F1 in Houston as well?
By the way, since you have both cars, what do you see, as a "normal" driver (ie not a race driver, and in normal open road conditions), being the main differences between the F1 and the Enzo?

No problemo. Are you gonna bring that Enzo to TWS this weekend? I'm going to miss it because I will be driving my daughter to college in New Hampshire <sigh>. One of these days I will get the Maranello on a track. I promise!
