Very well said, Martin! Just one of the reasons that I've grown despondent about even desiring to enter these shows, much less go through the hassle of bringing a car. Last show we attended, the F-car contingent was much smaller than the year before. Situations like the ones you mention will not help the turnout any IMHO.

Yep Frank, I am PO'd. What the hell are they thinking. I have not heard from them at all. I guess they did not want to have my car in the show. That is okay but at least send me an e-mail to confirm that I am in or not. After all we are coming from 200+ Miles away.
Do they think we hold our plans open till one week before and then when they finally send something we are able to change our lifes around their stupid concourse?

I am pissed. I am pissed at mismanagement. I see it again at the FCA as well. This morning is the Karting Challenge. I signed up and send my check and did not receive a confirmation or directions or a time or what to wear.
Granted I know where I am going since it is basically next to my warehouse, and by looking and digging it said 9:00am in one of their things. Someone else will not be so lucky. They also dropped the ball on the first Concourse that I wanted to go to. I did not make the Fr-Sa Moroso but wanted to go to the Concourse Sunday. They did not give me a time, nor location (I ended up going to Moroso that morning).
I hate mismanagement. How hard is it to send our e-mails and/or a fax to those that sign up?
Why should I redirect my life to their concourse. I am brining my car. They should be lucky enough to have people like us going there showing our cars at our time so they can charge people to see them or have sponsors to pay them to be there too with OUR cars. It is OUR cars after all that are the vehicle for the concourse.

damn, I am pissed.

Michael -

"We will be mailing out final packets this weekend. The show is on Park Avenue in Winter Park. Your car has been placed in the show.
Thanks for your support.
Joyce"

You know, these guys are starting to piss me off. Still have not received anything.

I think Martin is PO'd also and not going. Now, I'm having second thoughts.

If anything comes in the mail, I'll post it.
:-)

I plan to be there as I've been put in charge of rounding up the Aston Martin contingent by
Bob Tallgren.

This was a really nice event last year and looking forward to returning.

By the way Martin, where do you get these vunderbar GIF's anyway?

See you there. Last year, I considered my '57 Mercedes SL. I don't think I received a registeration this year. Is it on the web site?
