LOL Ken, now imagine my Challenge car trying to load that if you have trouble with the 308 :-)

I rented a uhaul for my QV. It was like $45 a day. Problem is ground clearance, you need to extend the ramps with boards or you have to crank the tongue way up in the air to get the trailer on an incline high enough for the car to get on it. I also have thought about buying a trailer a number of times, but same deal, where do you put it???

still hope I can borrow one every now and then. A friend of mine has an enclosed one but that is hard to trailler with my old aching Jeep.

Martin, get a trailer with a winch, electric tongue jack, & a beaver tail. That will make life a lot easier. Look for a nice tire rack & lockable storage boxes also

those will not fit on them and they usually want to rent for an entire week at $250 so I am better off buying one.

I know. You can get a "El Cheapo" for even less but you need the place where to put that baby. I don't want to have it sitting in my warehouse and look at it every day. I will need the darn thing only in case I have noone to go to the track with me and/or for occassions like Oct. 4 going to Sebring. Ride with Marion in the truck and traillering the car. She wants to tag along and drive the Challenge for a few laps. :-)
