I would be up for a drive this weekend. Let me know. My car is at the dealership. BTW drove a 308 and a 456 today as well as my Lotus and a few Porsches. Not a bad day.

DAMN!! If I had known there would be that many Ferraris cruising around Connecticut last weekend, I would've stuck around. I only saw Bruce Wellington's yellow Testarossa... And I also checked my red TR. I guess that is sufficient.

Had a great day today (Saturday 28th) driving up North Jersey way. Up above Lake Hopatcong (somewhere), spotted a red 308 in a parking lot of a paint store. Sitting all be itself.

I think we were on 517?? crossing route 78 when a familiar beep caught our attention. Coming off 78 was a 328, I think, driver and passenger waving, we waved back but alittle late (age). Anyway, it was a different color almost burgundy or purple couldn't tell, but a great look. Hope you're on this board. Would love to know who you were.

Saw yet another Enzo today (red with white wrapped around much of the body)... If you want to see one, I suggest you go to Fort Lee Pizza on 9W. FNA uses the gas station across the street for refueling. This is the third DIFFERENT Enzo I've seen there in the past week.

At the mechanic today:
1) A Testa Rossa (the real thing). I think that it was a 250TR rather than a 500TRC. What's an extra $5,500,000?
2) An '80s TR
3) 348 Spider
4) Dino 246
5) Yellow P300 Urraco
6) Maserati Quattroporte
The flatbed operator voted for the 80's TR. I wonder why I wanted the 50's TR instead.

today at 2:15pm on Rt80 Paterson, a red 360 in the fast lane ripped by me and my red 308 in the slow lane. He cut it quickly into the middle lane 2 cars ahead. I caught up. Thumbs up from both cars, quick beep of the horn (God, the 308 horn sounds so pitiful) and he followed all the way to Rt 23 then getting off the Alps rd exit. The site of a 360 in the rear-view mirror is very impressive. Yes, I should have been in his rear-view, but he was just being polite :-)

Is the driver/passenger on this forum???

John,

Don't I feel stupid! LOL Should have checked your profile again. Thought you had a berlinetta! Anyway, I wasn't kidding, your car looked gorgeous in the rear view mirror. Sounded great too, even at near idle.

No, I wasn't in a 308. After doing a PPI on a QV and passing on 2 others GTS's in the last couple of years, I decided to give my 308 quest a little rest. The service costs are keeping me from jumping into the ring and I can't do any of it myself. Otherwise, yeah, I'd be in the QV right now.

BTW, I was visiting a friend in NYC. I was driving a borrowed silver Matrix with 17" wheels. (My daily driver is a silver Acura RSX). I spent forever looking for a parking spot! I went around the neighborhood for quite a while. During my orbit around the block I saw that you had parked on Columbus briefly...

Hope you enjoy every minute of the 355 in good health!

John, I was at 95th and Columbus midday, Sunday. Didn't see the fake 360 but I did see a gorgeous blue 355 Spider with tan top (down position). I was lucky enough to have it follow me for two blocks. A few minutes later, I spotted an early 90's red NSX. Small consolation since I got stuck in gridlock for nearly an hour...

Not sure if this one qualifies:

On the corner of West 85th Street and Columbus last night, I saw a silver/black 360 coupe with black challenge grills. When I got closer, it seems that the 360 coupe had duct-tape above its rear wheel well. In addition, the car appears to suffer damages from an accident: the headlights were miss aligned, the hood seems to be a spare part from a Challenge car and a series of other damages that any Ferrari owner would find horrifying. Out of curiosity I tried to get the VIN and see if I could get a history on this car:

Heres what the registration sticker on the window said:

1998 HYNDY 2DR SDN
VIN 12345678912345

Well, it turnout that the 360 coupe was a Hyundai. I wish I had a camerait was some piece of work (unflattering tone here).

Hey Sindo - Happy Hurricane Season to you down in Miami!!! You're a real sweetheart for rubbing it in!! Just keep your eyes on the road and not staring at the South Beach babes while driving. Enjoy your drive!!
