Momo Villeneuve ltd edition steering wheel

Well, it's identical to the Nardi, so why would anyone want to pay $1200 for this one when a better made, more durable, original, brand new Nardi is $300

 

Gilles has a special place in the hearts of the Tifosi.

That MF drove like a crazy man, on the track and in his helicopter as well.....it was left sitting at the track, the day he was killed.

 

He was also famous for driving a 308 - hard and fast.

 

Nice, but thats crazy money.

 

I think that there was another fairly respectable guy that drove the red cars too and also had a signature wheel.....a fellow Porsche 914'er gave it to me at a swap meet several years ago because I gave him a European turn signal lense. I think I got the better of the deal. I think there's an old thread where he had a Giallo 78 GTS.

Click on the link I provided in post #3 - I included that picture of Andretti with the Andretti wheel, and pictures of the Ickx, Peterson, and Regazzoni Momo wheels. Momo also produced spedial edition steering wheels for Stewart and Lauda, to also go with the Villeneuve and the others mentioned.

 

Yes I just missed out out on purchasing a Stewart edition on Craigslist.

 

Yes I saw one in Newman's BB before He bought it this way. I like it.
