My 355 f1 fiorano will not go in reverse or forward. I checked the fluid level and it was fine. I do not hear the normal click when it is suppose to engage. Any advise. Thank you. Harris

    Well, some internet diagnostic questions:

Is the transmission light on, flashing or out?
Can you hear the pump running / cycling?
Fuses in the foot well OK?

I'll save the relay question for after answers to these questions.

Doesn't the 355 have a sensor for the engine lid like the 360 does? IIRC, they won't go into gear if the engine lid is not fully closed or the engine lid sensor switch has failed. First thing that comes to mind whenever I see one of these threads...

Good point. Yes it does. If the deck lid or front bonnet is open, the car will not select any gear.

Yes, and when trying to select a gear, you will get a beep....

There is an engine cover switch and a door open switch but I don't believe there is one for the front bonnet.....
