Hi guys, one of my diffuser exit panels is mounted wrong.

The L-brackets attaching to the bumper can be mounted upside down, affecting the height of the diffuser exit. I thought the higher height (the one on the left below) was correct, but somehow the right side wouldn't match the bracket if mounted that way.

Which one is correct? Pictures on the internet seem to be inconclusive. Thanks in advance!

Ugly find: one of the brackets was glued onto the bumper. Someone didn't even bother to replace the missing screws.

Ditto on my car, although I don't know if the bolts are standard. I have a larger black body washer and a dome headed hex keyed bolt holding the bracket to the diffuser. I don't have the rusty bracket, either (Don't know why, but I don't have that bracket at all).

Thanks! Sure thing, if you're ever in the Silicon Valley area.

I've been laying on the floor every night trying to figure this out!

Still not sure why just one bracket won't line up with the diffuser...will try switching the brackets around tonight. :D

95's (at least early ones) had the brackets molded within the bumper. The diffusers mount to the brackets (all years) with hex head fasteners.

What, you aren't bringing the beer to me? :) :) J/K

Losten the other fasteners holding the diffuser, align and tighten ;)

Should line up just fine

Exactly, I was able to get everything in after loosening an upstream bolt. Thanks for confirming the correct setup!

Small job, but I feel better about having fixed yet another small issue. And to whoever glued on one of the brackets because the screws got lost......seriously?! :)

Ive seen worse on a ferrari

Like epoxying a cracked cam cover, I saw a oil leak turned out to be cracked.

Nothing in my records about it no idea how it got cracked but its a crack, im a guess someone cracked it and decided this was best.

    Lazy work Whoever did it.
