Gear head in a 360

This will be my build thread for my little 360. Let me begin with a slight introduction so some of this makes sense.

My name is RJ Cilurso, I'm a retired Airforce dude who has been wrenching all my life. I may have mentioned it here before but my entire life My answer to anyone asking if "I wanted anything" was " A monkey and a Ferrari". I have one now and although it's "just a 360" I could not be happier. I build high horsepower cars and do a fair bit of drag racing, but this lil thing is a drivers car and gives me great joy.

Warning 1. I enjoy writing, I did not say I was good at it, I just enjoy it. So if wading through the drivel of an undereducated gear head is not your thing please clicklity click me away. No hard feelings.

Warning 2 (there may be a few). I am not Voicey. I have less experience with a Ferrari than Lady GaGa has with good taste. I lived in England and had the pleasure of an affair with a girl named Helen and an air cooled 911. Another drivers car and another great deal of happy for rj. By the way I enjoy Aldious Voice's posts tremendously. Sorry if I spelled your name wrong. Please have no reservation saying, "rj don't do that", correcting me or flat out calling me names. I'm well established in the car world and you aren't going to hurt my man bits too badly. I know just about Zero with these cars and Inlack the steadfast searching skills of my youth. You all are about it.

Having said that I've already fixed a few things that might be considered amazing feats of magic. I've never met a cat I couldn't fix, but we'll realize this isn't just a car lol. This is an adventure for me. I may be a bother and a pest but know it's going to be mostly me under this thing covered in crud and stuck. Your opinions are very much appreciated. I've already made a few "friends here" who have helped answer dumb questions. I love the internet.

Set several records in the last one. Pump gas 4 digit wheel. Nasty. All home built. But enough of that. If anyone cares to see more stupid human car tricks face page me. I post pics of cars and my kids lol. You will rarely have to suffer through memes pics of my lunch or political tomfoolery

 

Lastly for tonight because I need to get to work, here is the 360.


I'm snapping pics as I go, finding all kids of stuff I can't live with. I e got a pile of parts and need a pile more. Sneak preview, CS nose, wheels, CS TCU, lots of detailing, Tubi, Fabspeed headers, upgraded Hill Eng suspension stuff like ball joints and what not.

Well firstly fly to Australia to visit your car. Lol. Mostly clean up but I'm doing CS body work, some custom Carbon splitter and spoiler stuff I building, CS Mirrors, brake upgrade, exhaust, air boxes, buncha little stuff. Car is dang near perfect as is. My big gripe was the nose is too soft.

Oh God I know I'm going to hear it but I picked up a yellow tach. Sorry! I just liked the contrast! Hahaha

It's funny you say that. Normally when I embed an image from Photobucket it just shows up. I see there is a link but no pic. I chose to use the PB images so I didn't clutter up server with my junk. I wonder if our site is frowning on the use of Photobucket or I screwed up?

I also didn't know that Photobucket spams people with ads. That simply won't do. Let me see if I can fix it.

... and I can't lol. I am unable to edit any of my original posts. hmm.

 

Wow, either our site automatically changes the pics to the site links we are seeing, or photobucket took a huge dump in my book and is making you visit their ad invested site.

 

So, slight setback to my stellar introduction. Looks like low res server pics it is. Until I find a replacement. I suppose they were providing a neat service for free, but that's kinda rude to just up and all of a sudden pull that.

Here is my 67. I do a lot of builds for people but this is my personal car.

My ZR1 made over 1k wheel and set a few records in top speed events. 19psi and a 250 shot on top. My favorite game was to take it to the track in stock trim and trap 150s. I would park in the staging lane and watch people walk over and look under the car, in the trunk etc. There was no cage so I had to sandbag to 10s, but I let it eat on the big end and people would just not really understand what was going on lol. Math didn't add up. 10.3@155? lol. Last run before I retired it was 167mph in the 1/4. scary fast.

Ha! I run the Elumatic and Joseph CNCs at work simply because no one else could get them to run well. I do all the programming and cutting and I'm the Plant Manager!

 

F1. Didn't have any issues after spending time with my daily E46 M3. They grew on me.

Sigh. This is getting old hahahaha.

 

I build boost cars for people on the side and even do some scratch builds. Lol I have a Redline Revolt, think ATV, that has German 800cc fuel injected motor that I built an intercooled turbo set up for. 600 pounds 180 horsepower on 19 pounds lol.

However, I love this little V8 the way it is. Just need a little more sound.

These are in a sad state. I've ordered some powdercoat samples and Inwill shoot these at home. Not sure why they are so dingy but they have enough chips in them that a respray is warranted

There have been quite a few loose nuts, which probably explains the strange noises I hear now and again.

This taillight did not survive the exfiltration. It was closest to the exhaust and I guess might be common? A call to the recyclers is in order.

That tailnpanel would make a great piece of wall art. Maybe I will have to replace this one lol
