I am using Torque Pro to read OBDII codes and monitor system functions on my 04 360. I now have a CEL on and Torque Pro doesn't see a code in the system. Thoughts for how to read this? Obviously, the Ferrari dealer wants an hour or so to read it. Arrgghh.. Anyone have better luck with a different reader?

    Thanks!
    Rick

I would say it's because Torque Pro only connects to one ECU and your error is on the other one!

Download EOBD Facile - it's free and you can select which ECU to read. More details here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430/449013-sd-reader-modena.html

Once you get it you should be able to read the conditions present when the error was logged - note these as well as the fuel trims.

Would you know by any chance if the EOBD Facile will talk to the ELM327 OBDII WiFi connector?
    Thanks

What's important is that your tablet/mobile talks to the ELM 327. Do you have an iPhone or iPad? If yes, then you will be fine with the ELM 327 WiFi.

I know someone running an ELM 327 WiFi with EOBD Facile and it is fine.

Worked great with my ELM327 Bluetooth. Have to buy the full version ($12) to clear the codes. Read my codes as P0455 and P1571.

I think Aldous means me - yes I can confirm it works just fine (with both iPhone and iPad).

Thanks guys -- will get one for my iPhone. Not sure which ELM327 to purchase as the prices are all over the place on Amazon.com -- $11 up to $30. London can you advise which one you have.
    Thanks
    Alan

The chip inside these devices at this end of the market is going to be the same. Buy the cheapest you can from a supplier in the US (so you can return it if faulty).

Hi guys one question about this OBD2 reader and iPhones.
It seems the best combination so far is to use the ELM327 along with EOBD facile.
But my question is Bluetooth version is for Androids and Wifi is for IOS devices, so the IOS only connects if there is a wifi connection available? So both devices must be connected to the router to communicate to each other, or the OBD2 creates a network which the IOS device connects to?
My garage is minus 3 levels and there is no wifi there.
    Thanks

The OBD creates a network that the IOS device connects to.
