Hello guys. I've seen this 430 Scuderia in Germany and i have a question. Is this really a Ferrari colour? The dealer says that it is Arancio Ferrari metallic. It is the first time that i hear and see a colour like this on a Ferrari.

To me it looks like it's an aftermarket.

    What do you think?

Why don't you go to your local Ferrari dealer and ask them?

That's right up my alley there. Funny I was just thinking of what a Scud would look like with my Vettes orange color. Mine is a bit more copper like but damn close. Cool!

Why not look at the sticker? Looks like a paint to match color to me.

There is no bad color for a scud. ( oh no he didnt) Go ahead, show me one.

I would be more worried that the car is offered and sold with 70K service done....it's pricey if you have to do it your own expenses....$$$$

Yes, you're right. Not my taste at all but it is a rare colour.

The price is really nice for an accident free Scuderia.

So the colour is indeed a Ferrari colour. Very unusual colour for a Scuderia. Thank you for the help by posting the link of the thread.

I normally don't like copper color for a car, but this somehow works on the scud.

I went to look at this car today and walked away. The car actually looks good and the color is original. Though having high mileage, the general wear and tear seems medium to good.

    Reasons for walking away:

    - Car has no leather/nylon pouch with manuals etc. There is a servicebook, though.
    - Car is offered with 70k service done - but the dealer who (apparantly) stamped the servicebook denies all knowledge and claims that the 70k service stamp is fake and was never done. We went to him and I agree that it must be a fake. The car was in heavy need of detailing and I don't think I ever saw a dirtier A/C filter. Oil was all black = 70k service was never done.
    - Cluctch reads out 100% wear. Clutch has probably been replaced at some point as the car drives and feels ok, but he who replaced it had most likely no access to Ferrari diagnostic tools.
    - Brakes discs are 73% worn = big $$$ (or actually €€€) bill coming up.
    - The car HAS had damage - although it was light (left front fender, headlight and front bumper) and is well-documented with a damage report.
    - The dealer claimed that the airbags had never been deployed, but that does not match the obvious color difference on the airbag cover vs. the dashboard - Ferrari would not allow this although their QC is not perfect).

The VIN# is ZFFKZ64B000160740 and the car HAS been well-maintained up to appx. 50.000 km's (this is documented by the previous, caretaking Ferrari dealership). The car CAN be brought back to life, but at an expense of a 70k service, not-so-far-in-the-future new brakes and possibly a new clutch - and all this together makes it a no-touch for me.

    Take care out there!

Und .... wass machst du jetzt ?

    Any news ?

Thanx Michael, THIS is very important info .... but you could have expected this of course imo !

There is NO cheap Ferrari ..... so also no cheap Scuderia ....

Take my advise: with all purchases insist in an official PPI, done by the national F dealer .... (any idea what PPI is ?) ...

    O.K !

Being interested to get a Scuderia next season I made a excel file on all Autoscout24 and Mobile offered Scuds in Europe.

And some are with F dealers, not mentionned here.

In total 67 and starting at stunning KEuro 80 .... but -as we read here- must be aware of fraud ....

Imo, it must be possible to bargain and get a good one for about KEuro 100; how about your opinion ?
