OK, so who here HASN'T had an F1 issue?

There are so many negative threads about the F1 on these cars, but how many of us here have actually had a problem?

I haven't.

 

None. Not on my two 355 GTS F1's and none on the 430 Scuderia. 350 track day laps this year alone, not a single problem, just happy driving

 

None. 3 years 7 k miles. Love it!

Oh and clutch wear this year 2% for 2.5k miles with very little motorway use.....

Depends what you consider to be a problem. Mines never cost any money to fix but:

1 x refused to change up from 3rd
1 x got stuck in 5th for 10 seconds

Otherwise fine over 25,000 miles.

 

None yet. Owned my 360 for 18months.

 

No f1 issues, 18 months, 5k miles. Hope I didn't just jinx myself.

 

With 3 years ownership not one issue.

 

4 years, 16k miles, and no problems.

 

None and have driven about 4k miles since buying 08

 

430 spider F1 no problems . Driven aprox 3500 miles this year since I've owned it .

 

2006 430 spider. 13 months; 6000 miles; 0 issues.

 

Poll please... Or I'll start one for the 360. Somebody else can do the 430

 

2009 16M, just turned 12000 miles. No F1 issues whatsoever. This transmission is the main reason I bought this car over a 458. The 458 is just too smooth and refined for me.

 

9 years F430 ownership and F1 sensor dead at 42K.But nothing bad, could happen.
Meanwhile actuator problem once in my Scuderia. No broken piece though, needed purge.

 

2009 430 Scuderia--No problems since I got it in October 2013.

This is great!
We only seem to remember the failures, and not all the cars that run flawlessly.

It's a but like in my store where we tend to remember the bad customers, and not the 99.9% of good ones!

 

Focusing on the negative is SOP around here. If I was as negative as is the norm here I'd eat a bullet.
