Hi Everyone, on cold start, I hear a loud rattle noise coming from drivers side rear exhaust. Not passenger side. It eventually gets less noticeable when engine warm. Don't think it's a header since I don't hear a ticking noise.

What could this be? A broken bracket? Any ideas?

Sounds like a bracket. Try holding the exhaust tip when the engine is running. Of course use a glove or something so you don't get burned. Could also be the bypass valve has something broken inside.

That's its! I held the exhaust tip and noise goes away. Must bracket. I was more worried about manifolds. Thanks.

    Two dumb questions -

1-how much does a new bracket cost? What sort of labor?
2-Why does the rattle noise subside when you drive for awhile and engine warm?

    Thanks for education

I paid about $400 installed. The bracket was completely cracked apart.

When the exhaust gets hot, it expands. It is possible that it closes the gap in the cracked bracket.

Same thing happened to mine. It they are the support brackets, they are part numbers 223144 and 223143 which are LH and RH respectively. They were $161 and $176 plus maybe an hour install so it's a relatively inexpensive fix in Ferrari terms.
Also be sure to check your motor mounts as well. They flatten out and the engine literally rests on the frame which causes added vibration.
