Hi, I have a 2004 360 which I bought second hand. She is beautiful. The only problem is that we only have one fob and don't have the current pin for the immobiliser system. We have obtained the original pin, but it now turns out that the immobiliser was changed at some point and Ferrari don't have a record of the current pin. Concerned that we will be stuffed if the fob dies or is lost!

I found a reference to a company in Australia, Immofixer that can extract the pin code from the immobiliser and create new fobs with the pin. Has anyone ever used them or done this?

    Thank you!

I have. Their service was excellent and they were able to extract the pin for me.

Are you sure the PIN you have is the original? where did you get it?

    Thanks. That is really helpful!

The original pin was obtained through the Ferrari dealer from Marinello. But because the immobiliser has been replaced at some point it isnt the current pin.

Reason I ask, Is my dealer provided my original PIN, or that's what they claimed. However, all they provided (and charged me for) was the PIN for the new remote kit that I purchased.

To any others who only have one fob and no PIN code, do yourself a favor and use the guys from down under. It's the only way you are able to guarantee that you get the correct PIN for your car.

If you are not worried about having the PIN you could just have a couple of spare fobs cloned

Can you clone the fob if you dont have the red master fob? We only have a black fob?

Yes - you need to send it away to a specialist - but you have given no location for a recommendation - also you'll no doubt want to take a look at some of the other fob and/or cloning threads to reassure yourself of the process

Thankyou. I am in Adelaide in South Australia. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Sorry - only know northern hemisphere - you could pm eric355 in France - I'm sure someone posted within the last year of getting cloning done in Oz - maybe in the local section

I used Gobble to clone mine. Nerve wracking sending your only fob.. but he did a good job!

Eric did a great job for me and was outstanding to work with. Agree with Curt that it was nerve-wracking but I sent him my fob via Fedex and about one week later received my (3) cloned fobs.

If you are in Australia, Immofixer can pull your PIN and then provide you with a full set of 3 matching fobs to go with the PIN. Expensive, but then she is back to where she was when she left the factory. With clones you need to rotate fobs regularly or the rolling codes get too far out of sequence and it could take a ton of button pushes to get to a rolling code the Alarm ECU has not seen before. With a matching set, you can use one fob for years and then pick up one of the other fobs and it will work on the first button push, because the Alarm ECU has all the fob IDs and rolling codes memorized.

Thank you all for your help. Much appreciated. Immofixer seems the way to go.
