It's that time again! C&C at Gainey. The turnouts this year have been phenomenal, with 300-400 of the Valley's best exotics and collector cars. It's June..... Summer is upon us! It's gonna be warm. Will the turnout continue? You'll have to show up to see. This month's honored marque is Mercedes Benz. So I expect to see some great Gullwings out there. I will be brining the SL55. We'll see if I can muster Kathleen to drive it, so I can bring the 'lowly CS'. This month's start time for summer is 7:30....... See you Saturday. Be there...... or be square!
I'd offer to transport one of your supercars...but I'm not worthy LOL I've been looking forward to C&C all month for some reason. I think there will be some very special cars here.
7:30 comes early but we'll bring something/s cool. The Bugatti was cool last time .......... maybe something pink.
So...claims of a Jerrari in appearance and now Ryalex's Hello Kitty TR?! What's next...the wooden F50?! See ya'll tomorrow...setting alarms now!
Wow, my first visit to C&C here in Phoenix...some great rides for sure. Met up with 'Copterjohn' and caught up, saw my old 348...amazing condition he keeps it in, better than ever...so cool. Finally met Agup and gave him a few prints...very cool guy Anyway there was a replica P-4 there that was stuninng, have to do an illustration of that. Great variety of rides of every kind, John said to expect even bigger turnouts. Handed out a few cards for guys that my want their car illustrated. Fun morning. Got a handful of shots up. Desert-Motors.com :: Automotive Photography - Phoenix, Arizona - Cars & Coffee - June 1st, 2013 Thanks as always to everyone who brought something out!
Thank you, once again! I cannot wait to frame them. I'm honored to have your work! By the way, a few seconds after you left a guy approached me and asked if that was my work. I gave him your card so hopefully he will contact you. I didn't catch his name, he said he has a Porsche 911. Nice to meet you as well. If only I had a cool car you could illustrate!

Tossed up a few more shots. Up to 17 photos now. Desert-Motors.com :: Automotive Photography - Phoenix, Arizona - Cars & Coffee - June 1st, 2013 He really does take phenomenal care of that car. Ashwin, Otis and I got together quick a while back and took some photos of it. Had been talking with John for YEARS about getting together to shoot it, so it was cool to finally take some shots. 1992 Ferrari 348 TB Through Three Lenses | Desert-Motors.com Nice shots as usual, Ashwin!
Bushwacker...... Sorry I missed you. The turnout was pretty amazing for June. In the cooler weather, it has become 'THE' place to be on the first Saturday of the month.
Same to you as well! I saw you taking pictures of the F-Type and got out of the way but ended up getting side tracked, sorry we didn't get to chat!
Haha, saw you there and thought the same thing. But no worries, that was much too early for me to be awake so I was pretty much in and out of there. Hardly talked to anyone, actually.
I was with Ashwin when you gave them to him. Very nice work indeed. Anyone would be proud to frame those up!
Thanks Darrell very kind of you Funny thing I went to Pavilions that night as well and as soon as I opened the door to get out of my car Ashwin was there too. So we hung out for awhile and talked to some peeps, took some pics and looked the cars...really cool young guy that's got it together. Geez!. 107 degrees. On a side note I went over to Metro Center before Pavilions to see their outdoor car show / swap meet advertised on the net...all that was there was a lone DJ playing music and one 57 Oldsmobile, kiss that one off.
If u look closely you will see this months "replacement" sitting in for that lowly challenge stradale. I was going to take a couple shots of the hardtop convertible going up but had bystanders directly in the way. By the time I would have walked to other side...it was up! Some awesome highly detailed machinery at this months showing. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yup....... This month's CS replacement was the 'lowly SL55', in honor of MB month. The 300 SL roadster that was in front of me was having difficulty starting, I offered a simple solution of a straight across swap (as the SL55 always starts), but for some reason the owner declined.
Did a couple of Hot Rod illustrations when I got home from C&C and the Carefree show...lots of fun. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good stuff Bush! My grandson really likes the 32. He's always asking me to draw him hot rods to custom color with crayolas. He loves flames...I've found them on several of my walls LOL! WTF it's only paint, why curb his creativity and enthusiasm. See ya soon!
