    The Tach is fixed.

First the symptoms: Worked normal for the first 45 minutes or so of operation. Then it would start to stick at various RPM's ending up dead around 800 RPM. Let it cool down and everything would be normal for a while.

The Fix: As Steve M. said before, '...the majority of Tachometer problems are in the tach itself...'. North Hollywood Speedometer replaced the circuit board in the tach and all is well. $204 including a pack of 10 instrument bulbs.

    Passenger window switch.

It worked, but would stick in the down position. I disassembled the switch and the little prongs that press down on the metal bar beneath were broken off. The guts were fine, just the actual switch shell. I ordered a NOS 348/512TR switch PN147207 for $33 off of Ebay. Popped off the new 348/512TR shell and snapped it on the TR guts. The shell is the same, the electronic underneath are different. $40 savings.

Top pic is of the 348/512 switch on the left, TR switch on right. Bottom pic I am pointing to where the prongs should be on the TR switch.

Fuel pumps still make a buzzing sound when hot. Thats the last thing I need to investigate, and im calling this car DONE!

Only if you are selling it tonight ;)

Great job on the maintenance, I had heard the 512TR window switches were different, now we know.

How do you get the switch out of the console? Just pry it out or is there a technique?

Just pry it up, carefully. Use plastic tools if you have them. The switches have plastic tabs on the ends that provide a pressure fit--can be seen in the photo above. Once out (at least on my car) there isn't much slack in the wiring.
