Hi, I was wondering what you can use for electrical connector corrosion? I have a connection I will clean off and everything is fine, but give it about 6 or 7 months and it seems like the corrosion comes back enough prevent a good electrical connection. I changed out the connector to a gold connector and also put die electric grease on it too. Still having this small minor issue. Any idea how to fix? I almost want to solder the connection.

I have had good luck with a paste made by Thomas-Betts call maybe Kor-shield. The same bottle lasts about 20 Years. It has lots of copper and you use a "pin Head" amount. And ofcourse, there is dielectric grease whch works by sealing out the mosture. Sorry, I can't spell today. FWIW.

Try a squirt of Boeshield B-7 periodically on the cleaned up connector. I use it on many parts including electrical connectors with good results. BTW, check out it’s development history and uses at Boeing.
