What's the deal here? Couldn't find anything online regarding these cars? That's a lot to be hanging on to
Phil if you look closer there are two roof aerial. Sam, you'd be amaze how many cars Scotti has in stock. A HUGE inventory of almost ANY car that are not advertised anywhere. What Scotti advertise is the tip of the iceberg. A lot of project cars. But it's hard to deal with John. A very nice guy always polite and if he's not in a hurry very friendly. He's a car lover business man. Never in a hurry to sell something. Doesn't matter for him if it stay there for another 10 years. It can sometimes be frustrating but when you understand the man he's a nice guy. From my experience with my friend buying his Diablo from him at a very decent price the delivery was top notch too. Everybody was nice and professionnal. Car was ready and awaiting for us.
He own many dealers and buildings and the cars are stored everywhere. Do you see any listing for Jalpa, Urraco? No! But he has some. All projects. Gulwing in NY has been trying to buy his two Jalpa but they didn't come to an agreement I guess. My friend was looking to buy one and offered $75K cdn but John wanted to sell both he had in a package deal. Too much for my friend. I guess Peter Kumar didn't offer enought for the pair. None of these cars are advertised. But if you walk in the dealer and talk a bit and ask for a specific car most of the time they can help.
Haha, oh man, just saw that. Almost grabbed a 512tr with an aerial in the windscreen back in 13 from the crazy woman that AlexN dealt with. Couldn't give me a straight answer as to if it was simply a magnet or a 5-10k windscreen that would have to be put in. That was enough to make me walk away. How on earth would one go about repairing that on a panel? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I also dabbled in that car. The widow had her husbands cars just sitting and she isnt ready to part with them Kinda sad. IIRC the rear window was cracked way out of belt service etc. But a good project car.
Keep in mind the TR has a large part of the roof that go up with the rear cover. About 4 inches. The back glass is kind of deep back there.
