    Hi Trevor

Is it your car or a friends?

How was it arranged, did they go to your car or did you remove the visor and get them to sigh the visor at one of the arranged signings

Tell us about your experience, did you get to go on the pit walk?

In terms of the sunvisors, there are actually a few different versions I have seen

Mine don't have vertical stitched "stripes"

And I have seen a car with crema interior that had red Alcantra on the side that's hidden when they are in the closed position

I know I don't have a mirror on the drivers side, and the passenger "mirror" is just coated plastic and not glass, and it's not lighted or covered

My guess is the visors can be a part of the customization process, I'm guessing leather or Alcantra, colour of stitching, and im guessing vertical stitching is done on some cars (on one I saw in a showroom with a crema leather headliner and Daytona seats with red Alcantra inserts)

Yes it's my car, had it for 15 months now.

I unscrewed the visor and took it with me, had a lovely day with free food and drinks (Cost me enough though), had 2 pit walks and a walk around the paddock, quiet a few drivers were just walking around it was fantastic. I asked the lady at Ferrari if it was possible to get the visor signed and she said she would try but it may not be possible, she also said to me 'Are you sure you want to get this signed' with a puzzled smile', DEFFO I said, it would really mean alot.

An hour later got a tap on the shoulder, 'I have got the signatures for you', I rushed to get the visor and was SO happy when it was Massa and Alonso.

The plastic on the mirror is film put on during transportation. Try using your fingernail to pull the film off. The stitching I think is standard now. I have the stitching in contrast on my 2012.

2 more photos of my car, I had the roof wrapped matt black £500 through my dealer and I had the horse painted black, give it a GTO feel.

Have you seen the new GTO grill for the cali?

I will upload in a few minutes.

WTF? I am pretty sure I paid $700 US at the dealership including installation. One thing to watch out for is that the grills are inconsistent. I had to get a second grill mounted as the first one did not line up with the took hook. Even with the second one the dealer and to lower the tow hook by 1/2 inch before it was useable.

BTW I think it looks awesome and I feel it is much better than the standard egg carton look.

When you go to sell, are you going to replace the visor and keep the signed one?

Very cool though. Your Cali looks good, BTW.

I will probably sell the car with the visor, means i will have to go again and get the new car visor signed

I think im going to get that grill looks awesome, I would like to see a cali with the FF style grill where it goes across the whole nose.

The GTO grill has been available for 18 months but it's still rare to see a car with it. Here is a shot that was posted in another thread last year of an F Chatters car with one fitted.

I think an FF or F12 grille would really improve the looks

Would be great if someone could use photoshop to test the concept

Who did your roof wrap and are you happy with it as I am thinking of experimenting on my soon to arrive Spider but was not convinced enough to order painted from the factory?

The wrap was done near my dealership, its the same company that did Peter Andres Cali, I got cheaper quotes BUT I knew if the dealership were going to get it done for me it would be 100% perfect.....and it is, cost about £500. I think much better wrapped becasue you can always go back to red, to paint it was £2000+vay as the roof may have had to come off.

I was worried because I saw a wrap on a 599 and it was totally crap, it was peeling and the finish was terrible.

    yes that was the company
    http://www.colourmycar.net

They have outlets across the country, I preferred my dealer to do it because I knew they had done a 458 and they wanted as much work as poss from them, cost me a few more quid but considered it as a guarantee.
