Used Ferrari 288 GTO Wheels by Speedline 8"x16" front and 10"x16" rears

    Part numbers:
    122454 front
    122466 rear

Center locking hubs included but no center locking nut. Tires included. Tires have loads of tread left but I would only suggest using them as rollers as I'm not sure of their age.

Extremely clean and straight. Very rare.

    Price $20,000

Loads of pictures in the online album and a youtube video just follow the links below.

I photographed the wheels in both bright sunlight and shade. I included the video as still pictures don't always convey the whole picture. The only blemishes of note are a little "failing" in the clear coat which is very minor and I only bring it up as a fact of full disclosure. I've included pictures of these blemishes in the photo album.

These do not come up for sale often so there is little in the way of comparable sales. I based my pricing in part on a 2011 article from Hemmings listing a 288 GTO wheel set at $18,500. I've also taken into account scarcity and condition.

    Thanks for looking.

Those are beautiful, probably the best style ever offered by Ferrari (my opinion, of course).

    Best to you.

Thanks to you both. They are stunning to looking at. I wish I had the car to go with them.

Kevin, you mention you don't know the age of the tires.

Have a look for an oval shaped stamp with four digits in the oval - somewhere on the outside facing tire wall near the beading. The first 2 digits represent the week (1-52) and the second 2 digits the year e.g 10 for 2010. You may be able to edit your advert to say you have verified the age and they aren't that old....

Good luck those are beautiful rims but would look odd on my 360😄

    Thanks Dave,

The DOT stamping is only present on one sidewall for each tire. This tells me they were manufactured prior to 2000. The pre-2000 stamp is only 3 digits which does not indicate which decade they were made. Pictured below is a rear tire with the 3 digit code reading 315 which would be the 31st week in the 5th year of either 1995 or 1985. In any event the tires appear to be over 16 years old. One thing I found interesting is that the front tires are Goodyears stamped "Made in Germany". If I'm missing anything noteworthy I'd appreciate any input from members.

Congrats on the buy and the sell here. They are very rare and don't come around much.

Thanks! I always loved 288 wheels. Someday these wheels may be worth more than the car!
