Congrats Greg! The 355 CCR Championship is clearly won by only the world's best drivers!! ;)

How was the turn out at NOLA? How many entries in total?

We both ran against Onofrio. You know. Onofrio will let you pass. Franco is running his 355 now. He will not.

I got within .08 seconds of him (Franco) at NOLA and then my alternator went out. I only had one real 25 minute session to learn the track before the first race. After the first race and a little more track time, we were running in the 1:52's before the alternator blew. Franco ran one 1:51.
I think I could run a 1:47 at NOLA. I just started to get the line down. I never really got to work on closing down my braking zones because of the limited track time.

Jerome, I will. Effort Media placed Gopro camera's all over my car. But, I have to wait for them to give me the video.

Only time you can pass Onofrio is when his car gives out and then he does the gentlemanly driver thing not holding you up. Should make us feel good we competed against him and now he's kicking butt in Ferrari Challenge. My pass on Franco at VIR was my best of the year.

It's pretty cool we were racing Onofrio and now he is winning NA Ferrari Challenge races. He also raced at the world finals last year too.
Onofrio is the nicest guy and his father. I would like to see him in Grand Am.

Sounds like it would have been a blast to have us all there. Colin and I ran 52s and 53s last year on the Hoosiers and should have been there with both of you if we had the Pirellis. The Hoosiers were failing out there with unusual and excessive wear, overall they just suck!

I lost a few sessions last year myself with a starter that failed. My alternator was also going out and I was not able to get my full rev range and hp, I was getting fuel cut-off once I crested 8K rpm. Chris Saco, driving Franco's car, also had an engine failure in the second race. Must be some bad 355 mojo out there on the bayou!

All of us in TX have had alternator problems. Our shop, Norwoods, has spec'ed for us a new alternator that is supposed to be more robust though time will tell. It runs with a smaller belt and is based on some sort of NASCAR spec. You should give them a call.

I only got to race with Onofrio once, back at Daytona in 2011 the day I took delivery of the 355CH. He really is a great kid and a hell of a driver, mature beyond his years on both accounts. It's great to see him earning so much success.

Rob's a pretty good driver also, but he refuses to come out and play with me. ;)

I think the schedule will come out soon for CCR. Let's see if we can all get together for a couple races.
I also shipped my alternator out to Raceproven technologies(Nascar supplier). Let's see what they come up with.
