As far as his Ferrari collection, he used to drive a black 512 and a red Testarossa. In the mis 90s, when the Bulls were at their peak, he would often be seen pulling into the stadium in a black 456 or black 355. He also has had multiple 550s and 575s (including a 550 Barchetta), with the yellow one having "MISS ME" vanity plates on it. He also, as mentioned, has a black 360 Modena with white interior. His latest 575 is black as well. When in Washington, his car of choice seemed to be his pewter (tungsten silver) Aston Martin Vanquish, though he also had two DB7s (including a black Volante) he drove a lot. He also drove his silver Porsche GT2 a lot along with the aforementioned 575s (yellow and black). He also keeps all the high-end Benzes in his collection, updating every couple of years. He always keeps a CL600, an S600, and he also had one of the first SL55 AMGs in the country. It was blue. I'd assume he has a 65 now. Both the S and CL he drove while in Washington were black. Recently, his car of choice has been the SLR McLaren. He's been seen driving around Chicago in it a lot. Oh, and he buys a couple of new Range Rovers every couple of years. Normally hunter green and black.
Another "Spot" here of Michael Jordan in a Black 456. I believe he uses Lake Forest Sportscars in Lake Bluff,IL. for all of his local Ferrari needs. The late Miles Davis-275GTB-'66 or '67 Jon BonJovi- Had a Red 328. But,I saw it For Sale a few years ago in Hemmings Motor News.... Billy Gibbons of ZZ top. Had an Azzurro 308. Saw that car For Sale many years ago at the now defunct St.Charles Motors. Bret Michaels-HAD a nice Red 308...that got all crunchied up... Alice Cooper-I believe has a Black TR....How appropriate! George Lynch-(Formerly of Dokken, and one of THE BEST Guitarists out there...) Red 308. He's driving it in their "The Hunter" Music Video.
^^^Yes, he uses Lake Forest for the Astons as well. He even leaves the plate holder with their logo on most of the cars. When he was in DC, he got the SL55 delivered at EuroMotorcars in Bethesda, MD.
For some reason, I recall hearing that the 575M in Bad Boys II belonged to the film's director, Michael Bay. Not sure who owned the 550 that served as the "body double" in that film.
Randy Johnson has a 360 coupe(go figure, he is 6' 10"). Here is shaqs 456, all hof his ferraris have their roofs cut off so he can fit in them. http://img93.echo.cx/img93/1640/456gttarga019hh5is.jpg http://img93.echo.cx/img93/1486/456gttarga021fd8ih.jpg http://img233.echo.cx/img233/9172/456gttarga036wq9qq.jpg
Don't know if it's been mentioned already, but Mark Knopfler has a silver 275 GTB/4, and I think golfer Sergio Garcia has a 360 Spider.
And it is not just celebs who act stupid. A woman I work with has a brother, blue collar $20k per year kind of guy who won $200k in a settlement. By the time he was done buying a Hummer and tricking it out, buying a motorcycle even though he did nott have a motorcycle license, and buying everybody rounds at the bar he found out that he could not afford the gas for the Hummer.... At least the celebs can afford it...
Mike Tyson had a red F50 around the time he bit Holyfields ear off... he had been renting a house in Scottsdale and kept the F50 in the garage but left the door open so you could come by and check it out... It was in a private golf community called Ancala. I also read somewhere that he has owned 30+ Ferrari's...
Don't be too sure about the celebs. They spend money like no tomarrow. Guys like Tom Cruise, Nick Cage, JLO can easily afford them. But the B-list stars spend as much. They had a story on ABC Primetime about the spending of Celebs. McHammer, Mike Tyson, Michael Jackson are prime examples of big-time earners who went bankrupt or are bleeding red.
Mike Tyson........Most likely all leased by Don King and given to him in order to divert his attention away from the looting of his personal fortune! SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART!
Arnold Vosloo drives a 550 Vincent Lecalvier of the Tampa Bay Lightning Rapper Lil Bow Wow Music Producer Jay E Gary Sheffield of the Chicago White Sox Daunte Culpepper of the Minnesota Vikings all of these people have 360's Music Producer Cody Leibel and Rod Stewart have Enzo's
I remember years ago my sister told me about Mr Bean. I looked at her in surprise and said "Rowan Atkinson can ACT???" She looked at me like I was NUTS!! I knew him as a regular columnist in CAR magazine. He also wrote an article about his experience ordering a new Ferrari as a customer and the process he went through. I believe it was a 456. Also, Automobile magazine awhile back did an article on Hagar. Sammy was saying how he bought the BB and that he blew the clutch out doing the video. He also said he got the idea for "I can't drive 55." while sitting in that car on the side of the road while waiting for a cop to write a speeding ticket. He said he drove it often and across country many times. The writer said the driver's seat was so worn it looked like a family of squirrels lived in the car. LOL. I respect that! He's come a long way from that red Trans Am!!!! Den.
Dont forget the washed up celebrity on our list, the one that never made all the money and had to "settle" fot a gt4 (I wouldn't trade it for the world)!! I sold my drum set and gave up a 22 year music carreer to get my Ferrari. Now thats priorities, oh yeah and I drive it and work on it lets see those rich pu****s do that ! http://www.cirith-ungol.dragonight.de/nadsokor.htm http://www.cirithungol.chaos-lords.de/index_e.htm http://new.petitiononline.com/ungol/petition.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
My congrats go to Axl Rose for his recent purchase of one red Enzo with black interior. Regardless of all of the bad publicity he has gotten in the last decade, he must be, deep down, just one of us. Now where to store the guitar . . .
Actually Guns and Roses manager that made them famous was to be our manager. They asked us to wear womens clothing and lipstick we said, well....no, the rest is history. You want to know the truth I would rather be poor than fake. Same with Motley Crue another band on our label, I never had any respect for them(hair bands), but then again I was from another time when bands like Deep Purple and ELP & Black Sabbath ruled (boy what happened to Ozzie! ouch!!), what I consider real musicians, guys that could play anything but played hard rock/metal cause it was the pinnacle (like Ferrari), and believe me I saw them all. Best 2 bands I ever saw; Mountain and Thin Lizzy, unfortunately Felix P. (who produced Cream) was killed by his jealous wife and Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy) ODed on heroin, all tragedies. S. Hagar is cool his first band Montrose had a great album, Ronnie Montrose was a guitar hero thats for sure. But then Im old fashioned, as much as i appreciate the Enzo if I had that cash I would get a 250 SWB or 2 daytonas, a 365 boxer and a 206 dino!!. Do you all know Elvis had a gt4, its still at Graceland and has wire wheels! No comment on that one! I still bet not one of those guys (in lipstick)could change their oil! There was a band the J. Giles band out of Boston I think and J actually was quite a mechanic and worked on his Ferrari's I heard he even had a shop at one time. I know ZZ top were straight up guys as you can tell, now those are guys just like us... BTW check out the garage in back!! HA Image Unavailable, Please Login
