They are obviously going to follower her arround secretly, CSIS or the RCMP or something. Its still weird that they let her go with no restrictions.

Absolutely ridiculous! I don't care what kind of deal she worked out with the legal system to in order to indict Paul Bernardo. She lured in and had her own sister raped and killed for gods sake! She was an active accomplice in the rapes and murders of those three young girls and she should be rotting in prison along with her husband. If they have to let her out then at least have her under constant surveillance. She's already proven what kind of a person she is ... who in their right mind would let her loose on society again?

Maybe if that dumbass judge had his teenage daughter raped and murdered he wouldn't feel the same way.

Do you think it was a Quebec vs. Ontario thing?

I would like to know why the Judge is not held responsible for his actions.

I daily life everyone is responsible fo rthere decisions, at work, if you mess up, odds are you are fired.

It amazes me that like our politicians, Judges are not accountable.

Now that shes out, I would date her in a heartbeat, I would give her a night she would not soon forget.

On second thought, I had to rethink this. The pain I could inflict on her might not be the same as say:

Bringing her to the gettos in LA(Compton) or the prison cell in the US like LA with the hard core criminals. She would have to be in general holding of course, and the only woman of course.Make a little bolnde girl into some serious meat. Thats what she deserves. probably more painful and mentally disturbing than anything else I could ever do.

I CANNOT BELIEVE SHE IS OUT. WHAT S DUMBA$$ COUNTRY I LIVE IN SOMETIMES !!

Wether in this life, or in the next, she will get whats coming to her.

Unfortunately our justice system allowed this particular piece of **** to slip by. Talk about a deal with the devil.....

Lets hope that where ever she goes, where ever she lives, where ever she works, plays, eats, etc....someone is there to let her know nothing has been forgotten. This is where the News Media might actually do some good. Hound her, follow her, never let her rest...call it a responsibility to public safety. The newspapers have done it to others far less deserving....we have a right to know if there is a monster living silently amongst us.

I doubt any other Country would allow a multiple sex crime murderer to immigrate, so I guess were stuck with her. Lets make the rest of her natural life a painful reminder of her horrific crimes. Never let her pretend that everything is OK...not even for a second!

sometimes things get lost going across borders or across the pond but evidently not this time. Nothing describes her better than pure evil. She's right up there with infamous serial killers and torturers like Bundy, Fish, Gacy, Chikatilo.....

Too bad common sense and decency can't overcome what's written on paper(laws).

The root of the problem is that "we" ie: Regina made a deal with her. So, since she's fully paid her debt to society........... once again the train falls off the track.

She entered into that plea without fully disclosing her involvement with regards to both her sisters and the other two. Should have been invalidated in most minds as she should be redesignated as a serial killer and kept indefinately.

I pray that she slips and falls hard on the ice this winter. Deepest regrets to the surviving families.

    A pretty twisted tale....

They did the deal before the discovery of the tapes, which undermined her initial position.....

Hard to second guess those things with 20/20 hindsight.

Sounds like the juries got an eyefull!

Agree it's a very tragic situation, it's becoming frighteningly common behavior fifteen years on......

There is a picture of her on the front of the Sun in todays issue. Im sure somebody will kill her such as a victims relative might hire someone, etc...If I was a relative I would make it my lifes mission to hunt her down and make her pay. Im sure it will happen.

In a way, the Judge is letting the victim's relatives get a shot at getting even with the scumbag whor_e. I agree with Newman, someone will surely hunt her down and she will wish for death so swift before they're through with her, that even the worst, most torturing and horrid way to go will seem enjoyable.

Guys, as far as the Quebec bashing goes, knock it off...it's infantile.

Granted that Homolka milked Quebec's ultra-left bleeding-heart soft stance on crime. And rest assured that I find my province's ways of dealing with crime & punishment nothing short of embarassing. Homolka should be grateful that she didn't commit her crime in the States, or she would have been lying on the gurney by now and taking her last breaths.

I'm sure that someone down the line will rat out her whereabouts for a couple of bucks...and that there will be no place desolate enough for her to hide safely.

Then...like some of you have said.....someone's gonna settle her hash one day.
