Just How Many Boxer owners

A friend of mine an hour away (not an f-chat member) has an 84 red/blk #50081.

 

'81, #34065, carb, black/bordeaux

There are 142 registered on the boxer registry at *********** and some of the ones here arent registered there. According to the chassis numbers, Jonathan's is an 80, not an 81. I originally thought mine was a 83 as the ownership says but the registry says its an 82 and thats what I now consider mine.

 

I own S/N 18745, a 365 Boxer.

 

Newman is correct, my Boxer was certainly buit in 1980, although it has always been titled as an '81. Pretty typical for older Italian cars. My euro glass 308 (black/tan, #20101) is variously listed as a '76 or '77 but is titled as a '77. I also have a '59 Giulietta Spider Veloce which Alfa confirms was built in '58. I've owned it for 25 years and I recently tracked down the ORIGINAL owner (through some receipts I found under the seats years ago during restoration), and he reports that when he bought the car it was titled as a '59 (NEW). In the end, the serial number tells it all, and the year as titled means very little, especially if the cars were imported by an individual.

Who has the highest serial number. Mine is 52773.

 

You forgot about Frank Parker (parkerf) and Gary Reed is in Washington NOT Oregon.

 

My 365BB #19343 is the last RHD 365 Boxer made and the second from last 356BB made (the last one being a LHD 365BB). I must say though that the cross-over betwen 365 and 512 is a bit grey as mine has many 512 mods as standard.

A mate of mine here in the UK has #17535 which is the first RHD 365BB made but he is off-line at the moment.

I know of another one thats just sitting around doing nothing. I'm trying to get my hands on it but the owner can't let it go. It needs a ton of work and hasn't bee fired in about 4 years..Overall the car is complete but it needs major engine out service and I gotta find the big oil leak that is appearing on the floor!! I'll see if I can get the numbers from it.

Very close Mr. Koslin. Yes, I have a Blue and tan BB512 but 1978. It appears to be one of the few BAR stickered carb cars here in The Peoples Republic of California.
