    The F50 is a ridiculous car:) thats some cool sound deadening material you have there
    according to my car encylopedia, which btw is now old "An extremley neat hardtop could be fitted in poor weather, although the noise with the top on was simply deafening"
    So in other words, its a pretty damm loud car - it would be hell with tubi's on it, im imagining! i'd kill to get a spin in an F50 - and i thought a de-catted 993 RS was loud! lol

    No problems, I thought anyone who was into F50's would find it a fascinating read. They come up on and off on ebay, so anyone else wanting one will get it hold of it without difficulty.

    I have only ever driven my car with the roof on. It is a pain to change it over to Barchetta spec as it takes 2 people and time. Maybe I will try it out one day.

    Yeah, I think the noise is worse with the roof on. Like being in a bell as it rings was the best description I have read.
    You might get lucky on the ride; but there is normally a very long line at any track day.

    360C Is it running a stock exhaust system? I saw a video once, where some people driving thier F50 were wearing earmuffs becuase it was so loud..

    Stock at this point. I haven't got around to the Tubi yet.
    It is ok for about 30mins; but after that the noise really starts to give you a headache. It is loud enough to make conversation difficult- put it that way.

    I've got a picture of a US Giallo F50 with a stereo in it somwhere.. would have to be on full volume to hear above the engine? LOL
    Also, 360C is yours the only Giallo F50 with yellow headlights? In the pic displayed at the back, there is Giallo F50 with yellow headlights.. is it yours?
    Will the F50 be at calder in march?
    i'm hopefull i'll be able to make it to that, despite uni & work starting up again. I tried to make it to PI on the 13th - however i couldnt organise transport down. Hopefully though by the time calder comes around i'll have my own transport to get myself around, and will be able to come up to a Ferrari track day, as i'd really like that:)

    Yes, mine is the one with the yellow headlights. I doubt that there is another one; but I could be wrong. Stereo would be a waste of time; but you should see some of the stupidity that the Sultan of Brunei got up to with his F50's.
    Has to be seen to be believed.

    Yes, I will be at Calder in March. The N-GT Michelotto definitely; but possibly the F50.

    Wow, some pretty radical mods done to his F50s including a RHD conversion and changing the interiour around..
    each to thier own i guess, and with that much money to throw around, i guess he saw that as ok

    Scott what do you use to resize your pics? the jagginess is awful on some! see if there's a resize vs resample option on your software, it will make the pics much better quality.

    also, you can post 800pixels now. :cool:
