Two shots today. First is Nassau in 1962. Not sure of the chassis # or driver. Second is Watkins Glen 1964. Great shot sitting on the grid! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The #81 car is chassis #1931, driven by Gerry Georgi and Allan Wylie in several different races at Nassau in 1962. Wylie was 6th in the TT Prelim race for GT cars over 2-liters and Georgi finished 5th in the TT main event. Wylie was 17th in the Governor's Trophy prelim with Georgi finishing 7th in the Governor's Trophy main event. They shared the car in the Nassau Trophy race, finishing 16th.
The first GTO during a pit stop. Being a mechanic I have always idlized the guys up front. Alberto Pedretti is directly in front of the car and the great Borsari is off the the right! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Jan, 1956 German GP. A little mild head to head between the two before the race. Just Collins little way of saying i'm going to beat you Juan. Both had much respect for each other from what i have read about them. It's my favourite ever picture too i think. Great composure.
Anyone any ideas with this one? Possibly Silverstone, possibly Innes Ireland Image Unavailable, Please Login
