I agree, the lavender 355 looks horrible, but the number plate furtunately isn't German (we have two characters in the second position at most. Hence, something like "CARA" wouldn't be possible).

The greens offered on 94-98 456s were Verde Silverstone (as noted), Verde Inglese, and Verde Mugello. However, I have seen "Forest Green" and even have a photo of the color code sticker, but it was on the 456 convertible (Venice) made for the Sultan of Brunei @ the Marconi Museum.
I saw a 355 Spyder this weekend in Destin (FL) with NJ plates (anyone here?) that was a metallic rose pink color...almost a copper-pink color. It was definitely the only F-car of that color I've ever seen!
Isn't it an option to have your F-car painted any color you want right from the factory for $$$$$. So the color that is the most rare we really wouldn't know about unless they actually list somewhere what personal color choices have been made in the past.
I looked at a Daytona that was some sort of "Racing Orange" from the factory. Supposedly they made 12 or 13 of them from the factory. I have a pic somewhere, but it looks red. Was a really unusual car, wished I had bought it now. I had a Silver/Green 360 at one time. Does that count?
The attached picture is of some sort of Mystic paint 355. I don't think it is factory, but if so, it should be 1 of 1 with this color. BT Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm pretty sure the one I saw was indeed Verde Silverstone. It is incredibly elegant and you are a lucky guy. The car I bought is Titanium over Black and it is sexy as hell in it own way, but that green is both rare and sweet.
I've seen pictures of a 246GTS in orange and it actually looks good. Be careful what you say about the green, Augustine likes them. MBG
orange Enzo? are you sure its not the red that sort of looks orangy? a CS I could see, but I'm sure pics of an orange Enzo would have surfaced by now.
Definitely Orange ... it's been posted in one of the Crystal Cove threads. It was the Crystal Cove weekend when there were three Enzo's a Mclaren(sp) and 5 CGT's G
Marjorie (sp? & it's the color which changes depending on light) 355 was in Rosso magazine for Japanese Ferrari gathering. I see that color in VW Beetle & NSX before. According to the article, it is the original paint from the factory. I wish I could post a pic but have no scanner...
Here are two you don't see very often. First one at a San Diego Meet, second one at Crystal Cove MB Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
hello, agree, the plate is most likely from austria (i think that's a 'w' before 'cara2', which would stand for 'wien' (vienna)). even more so, i agree that lavender looks horrible while lime green for some reason is not that disturbing... s
How about the old glidden salchi eurolac formulation of blu chiaro (on my dino #10704) or marrone (on my daily driver 400i #049773)? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
