I got saved by a lifeguard
Nope! Honest to goodness truth. It didn't take place in the MAIN vault, but rather a secondary vault (where we kept deeds and other legal documents) on another floor. Hell of a thrill!
Played in a rock band that opened for Ted Nugent in Lubbock, TX 1975. He told us we sucked less than the last opening band he had.
I survived an F2 tornado back in 2000, it crossed right in front of me & I felt my car being moved for a second. That as close as I ever want to get to something like that ever again. http://www.srh.noaa.gov/fwd/ftworthtornado.html
My buddy and I took turns once pissing out of the back of a moving pickup truck (one to drive, other to leak). Damn rednecks in Alberta!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chris
I was in my house when it was flattened (literally) by an F3 tornado. I was in the basement, so no one was hurt. I have no interest in doing that again.
wow, I have had a boring life so far. I drove from my house to seattle (3 hours) spent an hour there, and then drove to Portland spent three hours there, and then drove back to my house, 10 hours of driving in all on a sunday, had school the next day. Next one would be deciding to move to England when I had already planned to attend College in washington, had my housing and everything planned out for the fall. I moved two weeks after making that decision.
Gross Anatomy. We had to split her to view the sinus's. I got to do the sawing. We did a lot of cutting on her in that course but THAT was the most memorable to me by far.
Wheelie passed a cop, then darted. Cliff jumping at low tide - only way you avoid rocks is if you land on an incoming wave. Drinking during a volleyball tournament - and winning. Liquid courage. Getting arrested for asault/battery. Highschool fight.. long story. guy never hit me back. 170mph on paupers run and getting air. 170mph on paupers run and destroying my paint Take a suicide threat lightly
One thing that I've done once and don't care to repeat. I survived an F5 tornado on March 13, 1990. To say that it's a humbling experience doesn't begin do it justice. http://www.crh.noaa.gov/ict/climate/topten.php Scroll down to No. 8
After working all day and only having 2 hours sleep, I drove over 470 miles to look at a junker '57 Corvette for sale. And that was back when the speed limit was 55 mph. Looked at the car for 1 hour, passed on the deal and drove back. Left at 3:30 in the morning and got back after midnight. Total waste of time, effort, sleep, and gas money. Did I mention that I was tired after the trip?
took a girls virginity.....never ever do that AGAIN! EDIT: guess that's not unusal but still, never again.
Been in an airplane when it had to make an emergency landing. Turned out to be no big deal, just an air conditioning malfunction, but still, that whole "Here's what to do if you have to use the emergency chute" lecture was no fun at all. And the smoke in the plane was a little scary, too. dm
A wonderful little Cessna 150 with just me on board, but that was still a little too slow. It was a really bumpy day, so it was only momentary, but the pucker factor certainly went up. Not my best day, but I learned a lot. I had been doing a lot of short field work in the weeks before, so was comfortable flying it at the home field, which may have helped.
