Thinking that the ultimate chick magnet is an ice cream truck may indicate that you're dating girls way too young for you. ... and that you might live above a bar.
This could be a dangerous post on this board, but here goes: Women do care about cars as a fashion accessory (to generalize), but they don't like red cars. The ones that find out I have a Ferrari before they see it always ask what color it is (and never ask about bhp/torque etc.) When I tell them black/tan they always approve. (In fact the most recent one to ask actually had a black/tan Lexus.) The idea of a prestigious car that doesn't draw excessive attention to itself is appealing to many women. So, resale red works with guys, but financials aside, next time out, you might consider babe-magnet black instead. Maybe there's too much emphasis on the brand/model here, and not enough on the color. After all, how long does it talk your wife or g/f to pick out a paint color for any room of your house?
Thats funny women I have met ask me the same question about what color they are and I say red they respond "good a Ferrari should be red", one did say I am glad you didn't say yellow. As with many women they will tell you what they think you want to hear so who knows what to believe.
The ultimate chick magnet car would be a rental, shaped like ******, model year '69, license plate reading dgystle, long hood and big fat rear tires.
The F360 Modena F1 Spieder was voted the "Best Babe Magnet" at the Exotic Car Expo on July 1, 2006, Aspen Highlands Village. See chat Rocky Mountain Aspen Auto Show for pics. Phil Not Hill
As voted on by 116 guys at a car show with no vested interest in promoting their own sexual prowess...
Lamarossa is the ultimate chick magnet. If the chicks get cold, they can cuddle by the warm air coming out of the floor vents on the fenders. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I nominate the VW Karmann Ghia. Back in NL my buddies and me would have Alfas and Lancias, and motorcycles, but nothing worked as well as a conversation starter than that stupid Karmann. Yes, I don't care for them.... but the girlies do.....
In these parts it's, without a doubt, one of these; http://totalobscurity.com/mind/fordphallus/index.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
honestly its true...its "cute" enough for girls, cool/manly enough for guys...its faster then most cars most girls have been in, and EVERY time I take a girl somwhere in it...they ALWAYS want to stay in the car when its time to go...
My expierence is that it depends on the chick. That said women tend to look at what men drive in a different way than men themselves. While we see these vehicles as objects of desire for whatever reason, women see them as a reflection of your personality. I would venture to bet that most women (outside of car enthuists and gold diggers) are about as impressed by exotics as they are withyour gun collection. Meaning that most see the cars as compensation for some type of other shortcoming. Now I will say this when I drive my Mustang Fastback I get just as many waves, compilements and "thumbs up" from chicks as I do men.
According to a recent Forbes article the #1 chick car is a Mistu Eclipse, barf, followed by an Audi TT then the VW Beetle, Saturn Sky was 5th The guys had a 5 way tie for 1st w 1 GM pick up & several MBs, the BMW M6 was 2nd & the Viper GTS was 3rd http://www.forbes.com/2006/06/26/cx_dl_0627featslide_10.html?thisSpeed=6000 http://autos.aol.com/article/general/v2/_a/for-guys-and-girls/20060630114109990001
Women have a 6th sense when it comes to sizing up a man, how he is dressed, shoes and how he acts, they process this in about 20 seconds to decide if you are a worthy potential mate or not, they have done the same thing for 10,000 years nothings changed. The more desirable they are typically the more sophisticated they get to processing out the many unworthy prospects through various methods, we men are so unsophisticated in this area, just look at the plethora of womens mags Cosmo, Womens Day, etc. and it will have sex tips, make up tricks and other psychological info to help them have an edge on their competition, mens magazines that focus on women such as Playboy have pics thats it, then other current event interviews and such, the opposite of womens mags. What this means a woman could know jack about Ferraris but they know what they represent brand wise, $$$ and exclusivity or what it will do to their viewed status vs other females, for some this may be a turn off as they know there place vs the competition, others its not, as they feel they are better than any other woman and are not intimidated by the cars nor competition from other females. So the bottom line is it depends on the woman you want and the type of car they like not one car for all. The guy with the jacked up Ford 250 could be king in the trailer park as long as he's sporting a mullet with it, the man at the Bono sit in for peace could be the man in his Prius and leather sandals with the hairy leg and armpit chicks, the guy in his chrome 18 wheeler with huge stacks and girl outlined mud flaps is the man with all the ho's walking around nearby near the sleeze bag $19.95 a night motel where they change the sheets once a week.
The secret is all in the display of all you have to offer. Bigger is better in the bank & bedroom. A great car is key.
