There probably is...by now! LOL!
As I said earlier, these were put in because the front is no longer a 'trunk.' I don't know about authenticity, but this is what I was told. Peter Hatch
It is definately not even close to a candy apple, I would be interested to see the picture that brought you to that though. The rumor I heard was that it is a mixture of colors between a Ferrari and a Maserati red of the early 1960's era. Once again, only repeating what I've heard. Looked like Rosso Scuderia to me. Peter Hatch
Amazing. It looks even better in daylight, I would have never expected it could look better. The interior looks amazing, and I have no criticism on this car whatsoever. I heard many people at the show bashing how it is too bland, I think they are crazy. Others were saying it looks "too much like a spacecar." Looking forward in design has never been a problem for me. Amazing, huh? So many people saying it is weird to have a car of this magnitude being "retro" then getting to the show and them saying it is too futuristic. I have to see her in the sun. Peter Hatch
Here is the link to the photo! Mrs. Bugattiart posted it but her didn't work for me. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=92754&page=117 But seeing as there are a lot more photos closer to 'red', I am guessing this is a photoshop. I love this color!
Those pictures were of the full scale model, as you can see it doesn't have the small windows, as well as some other things on the real car. These were, if I remember correctly, the photoshops that were sent to the media before the real car was ready. Does look good though. Peter Hatch
i think i see myself what a great event. it definately the most fun i've had all summer and as a young driver, this was my first time driving over 100 miles all in one go. i have to say, the drive from redwood city to pebble beach is great! i only wish my dad's BMW 3 series had more comfy seats but seeing that car in person was well worth it. i really do hope i get to see that beautiful machine again *daydreams*

incredible the style of that car mixed the original body with contmporary lines, the effect looks terrific. i think that rims are not really the good style i will prefer in the rear a deep star like the original. it s thrue, the Enzo was reimagined.
I myself love the rims and think they fit the car perfectly. They are definetly retro or revamped versions of the old P4 rims. Nice simple 5 star design, the color bugged me the first time I saw them, then I realized that they look best how they are since the car is a tribute car and the older race ferraris had goldish rims. I photshoped them to make them silver and uh.. they deffinetly look better the color they are. I dont know how they would look with a deeper dish, but as Jim said thats not gonna be possible with the brake system as it is.
Fantastic Jim. I love the car... that side view is just killer good looking. I'm sure this was a very stressful and exciting project, and you pulled it off with an amazing result. The only thing I would change would be to change the exhaust tips to stainless and more stright up like on the F1 cars, rather than white and curved. Also, can you tell us what all that screen does? Is is just a navigation system or one of those new in car computers? Either way, congrats and enjoy the car... I'm sure your legacy is now set and you will be in future Ferrari history books forever.
The screen is a display for the on board tablet PC which has worldwide GPS/rally timing/CAD of the entire car/Parts list/assembly manual/ service manual/ etc. The on board computer can replicate/manufacture the entire car. The exhaust white is an homage to the P4 and the shape maximises aerodynamic flow to the movable rear spoiler. On the F1 cars the wing is higher. Best
Jim, congratulations on a fantastic car. Are there any oppertunities on the horizon for those of us in the tri-state area to get a look at her in the flesh?
congrats, you got a real and beautifull P4/P5 could you later post some pics the two cars side by side, well all wiev possible be creative these cars are so extrodinary. so may be someone ask you the same question but i haven t see it, how many cars will be built by Ferrari? how can you negociate with them to put the Ferrari logo on car? because pininfarina make the car and sometimes Ferrari refuse to indicated the Ferrari logo i mean like the Kappa for Peter. thanks in advance for your reply. Christian
Hi See post August 5, 11:21pm here: http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/07/29/second-look-ferrari-p-45-by-pininfarina/ Peter's car was also fully accepted by Ferrari and carries Ferrari as well as Pininfarina badges. Best
Jim - Just got this in the mail today - You are a true gentleman! Thanks for making Monterrey a great trip for my wife & I. It was a pleasure to meet you. Can't wait to see some pics of the beast cruising New York. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ditto. James has done more for me than I could have ever imagined, and for that I am truly grateful. Be sure not to forget us little people while you are off in the big mean world. Just remember who supported you all the way! Peter Hatch
