It would be no diffrent that me test driving a Saleen S7 and having Steve Saleen go along with the ride and says "I built this car" Its no diffrent.

It's no diffrent from a 1000hp Supra, Viper or Corvette or a "Hand built" Saleen S7 or anything else. It would be no diffrent from buy a POS Mosler Photon 900TT or POS SSC Aero. Those look like terrible designs, horrible engineering and don't look like they can't even handle a typical fender bender.

To be aonest I wouldn't feel safe taking a car over 200mph in the first place at all. The only thing I would feel comfortable going in would be a fighter jet, everything else i would definately have second thoughts.

i don't know anything about the saleen... except that they shouldn't name cars after soppy singers with a neck longer than her arms.

i couldn't give a rat's arse about a 1000hp supra or viper or whatever... put 27,000hp on a pushbike for all i care. i'd be willing to go as fast as the manufacturer had rated the vehicle for being 'safe' at. with all that power it might now be theoretically capable of doing 500kph, big deal, i'll only be in it up to it's performance envelope off the showroom floor. i'm not interested in what i might be able to do, just what it can and has.

i intend to spend the next 6 days travelling 250-300+kph in cars that were designed to do it. were a kit car or highly modified car to be part of the crowd i wouldn't go in it any further than normal traffic.

Here's one I had to put down..... Sorry, but the freaking exhaust tips look like tomething that came off a car from the "east syde" homes..... and the wheels? What tha?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Replica-Kit-Makes-Lamborghini-Diablo-Roadster-NO-RESERVE-built2007-NITROUS-SUPERCHARGER_W0QQitemZ330019083738QQihZ014QQcategoryZ7251QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

".......3.1 stroker motor , high performance cam, performance chip, custom exhaust, With available supercharger and nitrous boost. Built on a 87 fiero frame, power windows, doors hood, trunk and engine locks......."

This motor never had a supercharger made for it. I have never seen a supercharger added to a motor like this eithor. Turbo yes, SC no.... SC & (nitrous boost? lol!) kaboom!!!!!

At first I thought this one looked pretty good, then I started looking t the pictures and noticed it was a stubby replica, not stretched. Then it reallt got funny when I started reading..... The steering wheel is NOT Lambo like they say. "Total of 10 foglight/headlights".....? What in the world? why? "Musical PA system"....? Maybe for selling ice cream in the neighborhoods? "Air horn on the steering wheel".....? Why not put it in the engine bay? Maybe it's a bicycle air horn? And what the heck is "stunting", mentioned in the last sentence?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lamborghini-5000-S-Lamborghini-Countach-5000-S-replica-Lambo-Ferarri-kit_W0QQitemZ320020264309QQihZ011QQcategoryZ6290QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

    ".....Remote trunk release.
    Lamborghini leather steering wheel

Really good side mirrors most you can't see out of I am also including another set of original Lamborghini Countach mirrors.
The car has a total of 10 fog/headlights on the front of the car.

    Both pop up headlights work...............

It has musical horn with PA system.
It has an air horn on steering wheel.........

There is plenty of power in the engine and you can light-up the tires at any moment you feel like stunting......"

Not sure what to say here.....

"You will find many kit cars on ebay. Each one built to replicate or imitate 355's or Diablo's. This is not the case here. This car has taken on its own life. It began life as a GT Fiero V6 (Very Fast). The first owner took the reins to produce a Lamborghini Countach. He sold it to another man with many Countach kits; he ultimately got bored with it. Crossing race car ruggedness with low sweeping Lamborghini lines this car has evolved into what you see here. Hand crafted out of aluminum with a custom triplex windscreen. Over the years it has attracted a lot of interesting looks as 1 of a kind."

Who said anything of girls? I have a real Ferrari and have never been chased by any girls.

PS: Love that Vega in the background. Brings back some fond memories.

How many times do I have to say, Cars don't get chicks people get chicks!.

It doesn't matter if you own an orginal or a horrible replica, If your not a good person out of the car then it really doesn't matter what the hell you drive.

And someone posted the link the other day, but the picture bears posting.

I'm just sad for people who went through the trouble to make it.

That is a replica, but not 'crappy' to my eye. Fiero based means probably lacking any real power, but the lines look decent in the picture. As for the AM above, yikes!
