If blue w/ blue interior, it was likely the one recently for sale forever at WWoC. It has stories. The odometer "broke" apparently at some point, but it was driven during that period. As a result, there is no way to tell exactly how many miles it has other than to take their word for it. It could have 100,000. I looked at it and passed - smelled way too much B.S. for my delicate nose.
it does look like a blue interior. but a blue on blue ferrari? thats crazy, i dont like the sound of it. the blue on the exterior is nice though
Gotta be the same one. Is the odo the only issue or were there other things you found wrong? Also has been on Dupont Registry for the same forever... http://www.drautos.com/Search/DRauSearchDetails.aspx?itemid=280204 My 328 is a shade lighter (blue chiaro metallic). Refer to above link for pics of the 512TR interior.
I ran into the same type of problem with a clients 456GT recently, and it's not an easy thing to deal with when selling a car. It was a Euro car brought here and converted, however they changed the odo and never reported or documented the mileage so it's way off. We were asked to sell the car and never told about it. Ended up looking really bad in front of a potential buyer...learned my lesson, should have looked deeper into the ultra low mileage. Andrew Sports & Classics of NY www.sportsclassicsnyc.com
Definately looks like Sera Blue. I never saw a Sera Blue Testarossa in person, but i know they photograph excellent, especially w/ the sun shining. I can say I saw pictures of a GORGEOUS Sera Blue 348. Pictures were incredible. When I showed up to see the car, i was very disappointed. Color lacked BIG TIME in person. Not to say it would do so on the Testarossa. Very different bodies and presence.
That is an interesting color on the 512TR. Never seem them in a color like that. Great unique car choice.
