Sometimes I regret ordering the car in red, my next buy will be a black car.

New to FerrariChat. I am in the process of spec'ing out my F430. Was interested in the titanium exterior color. I have looked at most of the titanium 430s in this thread and in some there is a bluish coloration (especially those on page 37 of by Maineman. Is this the way it looks in real life or just a reflection of the picture taking process or viewing it online? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Al

Titanium looks superb in the flesh, as does Silverstone and Argento Nurburgring. None of these choices will lead to disappointment :)

Thanks BritBlaster: Filled out Profile. I understand they all look great but just wanted to know if Titanium has a bluish tint to it?

    Thanks, Al

It doesn't look overly bluish to me. I know that Grigio Alloy has a definite blue tint. Here's a pic I took of a Titanium car.

Thanks Steve for your pictures. I see what you mean. I just found out today that Algar Ferrari has one in their showroom and I am going to take a look tomorrow. Just need to see it in person before making a color decision.

    Thanks, Al

BTW Al, grigio titanio is awesome. The reason I went with it instead of red, yellow, or black is 1. red and yellow, while they shout "Ferrari", are too typical (no disrespect meant to the red & yellow owners...your cars still rock), 2. I believe that the silver/grey colors show the curves & contours of the car much better than any other color (why do you think many of the show concept cars are this color?), and 3. it's just an outstanding color on the car. Don't think about it...just go with what your heart/gut tell you. You can see more pics of my car at http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31075&page=49.

Thanks again Steve. Went to Philadelpha (Algar Ferrari) today and unbelievably they had 3 cars: Silver(430), Titanium(430) and a Silverstone. So I got to see all 3 "silver" colors in person. I definitiely like the Titanium the best at this point. I see you have the red calibers. I really like the yellow. Does anyone have any thoughts about the yellow with titanum. Any pictures? Steve, interested to know what you did with your interior colors?

    Thanks, AL

    Al,

My 360 is Titanium with matching calipers (Silver). I have seen both the yellow calipers as well as the silver ones on a Titanium car. If you want your eye to see the car and the scuderia shield (assuming you have the shiled) then you will want silever calipers. If you are looking for a bit more splash then the yellow is very attractive but it does draw your attention away from the car's features!!!

    Good luck!!!

Thank you for your comment Hackercraft. Certainly is something to keep in mind when making my decision.
