Sorry to do this because I hate when people complain about the weather, but I'm feeling so cheated. We haven't seen the sun for days, and I don't think it's looking any better for labor day weekend. I haven't driven my car in almost a week! :(

I feel bad for all those poor feckers who planned their vaca this week and are ending up with this worthless cool damp crap. Only positive is that I've been so busy with a home improvement project that I wouldn't have had much time to enjoy any nice weather we might have had.

Can I have summer back, please?

I actually met him once. He was kind of a jerk. I guess it must get old hearing, "Hey Al, what's they weather!!?" all day long, everywhere you go. And yes, I did ask. :D

its good to have a grey day once and awhile.

if you do not experience the bad then you will not know the good.

But ONLY if it doesn't rain. Old Ferrari with chronic overheating + malfunctioning windshield wipers... The cool weather helps a lot, but if it rains, not fun...

Can't wait... So far looks like we may be ok.....? (Edit: Weather.com shows possible few showers Sunday, 30% increasing to 60% later in the day... But since we're going out early... maybe we'll escape?)

Right chaps...the fall weather pattern has set in early this year. Long range models indicate about normal temperatures next week which will be quite nice to mid week then below normal the week after. And with normals dropping rapidly from here on out, I am afraid summer tempertures will soon be a memory, but hey for top down runs, sunny and temps in the 60s are best, so plenty of good run weather into November eh!.

Before that we have the remnants of Ernesto to deal with. the rain shield from the storm will make it up here by, say, Saturday afternoon or evening and Sunday will also probably be showery. Sorry.

What? i LOVE cool dense air feeding the Ferrari's engine while on track. As long as ambient is over 65F color me (and the tires and brakes) quite happy.

See everyone at Watkins Glen on Friday :)

Tell me about it. 65 degrees in August. That is just unheard of.
