Jon, the owner is my neighbour. I was told that when he bought the car, it was in a bad shape and had to do a lot to make it good. know what's the best part? road tax is 2k. I would have gone with white colour and red RS stickers.

Me too! Blue/white would be nice as well with black rims & polished lips. Sweet! You know what, I was thinking of dumping mine & looked around classic convertibles like Alfa spider, SL or 964 for daily use & people start to ask crazy prices again. Saw a nice blue 190SL hoisted up in a workshop @ SimMing, very nice dashboard with all the chromed bits & white washed tyres. My mechanic selling pre-70s beetles with chromed bumpers & split window for about S$40K, spray it to your favourite colour & custom the interior. Cool, cheap car that'll outlast us!

so-so lah. a bit busy though. Am travelling more frequently, though not as much as RO1 and you. More importantly, when can I ride in your car? My car is undergoing a bit of nip-tuck. should be done in 1-2 months. when Ben told me the cost, I almost flipped.
I did look for the alfa spider once, but they were not reasonably priced so I changed my mind. Of the 3, I think the late 90's SL is the best. A bit more modernised and easier to drive. 190SL? a bit old leh. Don't think I'll touch really old cars again.
haha... it was quite perfect. But since a previous owner went and changed the front bumper, rims and rear grill, I had to go all the way.
