Except for the text the picture is untouched. The grass is green and the water a deep blue. This is the exciting venue we have been working toward in order to present the nation with a show of unequaled beauty, Southwest style. And we want you and your great car to be part of it. If you have not yet entered Saturday's show of ItalianCarFest Weekend, please act now. The Application for Entry is at italiancarfest.com. If your printer is on the blink, call me and I will have one mailed or faxed to you. *This is ICF's first year on Lake Grapevine. *This is the first and perhaps only visit to Texas for designer Tom Tjaarda. *And- keep your fingers crossed- the first showing in the US of the street legal version of the Maserati MC12 courtesy of Gold Sponsor Boardwalk Maserati. Whether this is your first chance to come to ItalianCarFest or you have participated before, please don't miss out on this year's weekend. -Jerry Lee Phillips 817 521-4400
Does anybody know if we can attend the reception on Friday night if we don't put our cars in the show? I've never had the time to enter my car, can't spend a whole day there.
Thanks for your interest. The elegant reception at the Gaylord Texan Resort is hosted by Texas Driver Magazine. It is exclusive to entrants, sponsors and members of the ICCS only. We'd love to have your great car in our Saturday show. I hope your schedule will allow it if not this year, then next. If you have questions, please give me a call and I will take the time to answer them as fully as possible. -Jerry 817 521-4400
Anyone have an extra TR or 430 in the back of the garage I can borrow for the weekend? I want to go ( not just as a spectator) and do not think I will have a replacement by then.
Faster too. My neighbor has one. I love it.I can hear it coming a mile away-just like its four wheeled cousin.
Okay, I know it is not Italian BUT it is a very current project that Tom Tjaarda has worked on - the Shelby Series 2. It is a partial redesign of the Shelby Series 1 and was unveiled at Concorso. The car is scheduled to be on display in the Tom Tjaarda tent at ICF as a representative sample of Tom's more recent work.
