I went out for my weekly evening drive in my 348. It ran great, I'm really improving at driving this car. The only hitch, is the throttle didn't seem to want to return to the idle position. I would qive it a quick pump and it would almost always return to the normal idle RPM. Amy one have any advice concerning this.
I'm going to look at it tommorrow. Just wondering if anyone else has expierenced this, and knows of an easy fix.

When the Ferrari dealership failed to put my ground strap back on the car....the car used the shifter cables and throttle cables to ground itself.....both got fried.

The symptoms of the fried throttle cable were.....you guessed it.........a sticky throttle.

A new cable will cost you $100 and about a 1/2 hour to put in.

Ken, one thing that happens to most all of us is that our floor mats will creep up and stick the throttle at times (sometimes it's the little things in life)...

OH, I can chime in on that one! :D

It runs from the left rear of the frame, and gets connected to either one of the bolts on the flywheel cover, or two one of the bolts on the side of the tranny.

Before you go and buy an expensive throttle cable check out the throttle mechanism - I suggest it may need to be taken apart, cleaned, carbon buildup removed, greased and reassembled -

Disconnect the cable at the throttle body first and see if there is any undue friction between there and the pedal. That will tell the tale.

Like "No Doubt" said in a previous post......check to see that your floor mats don't creep up on the bottom of the throttle.
It happened to me when I first got my 348 and it still happens from time to time.
It doesn't take much for your heel to push the mat forward and put pressure on the throttle.

I had a sticky throttle on my 348 subsequent to purchase. Turned out that the authorised Ferrari dealership which carried out the major service, refitted the throttle cable in the wrong manner. It was corrected by another Ferrari dealership. Go figure. All I can say is, it's no fun having the throttle haphazardly stick on your car, especially when negotiating traffic. Scary stuff.
