Any Singapore Ferrari owners?

I've just made a quick trip to Melaka & KL then back. Now if anyone of you are into live band, old Rock & Roll, sinful food/drink, do make a short trip to Melaka. The centre of Jonker's walk now has an all caucasion band blasting out anything from Elvis to Guns & Roses to a large audience of tourists & locals that now occupies an entire street. They've closed off a few more streets & set up tables under the stars. Think it's Geographer's Cafe, you won't miss it & the CharKway or fried radish stall is behind the tent. Every Fri-Sundays evening-midnight.

Fengtau brought me around Sengambut & Sunway where all the car workshops, tuners & accessories shops are. Saw a lot of F&Furious lookalikes & track cars then I bought a nice C.Fibre GT3 replica seat, they have tons of accessories for BMWs, Mercs etc. Anything from "angel-eyes" to superchargers, so you don't have to shop on internet but do find a local car-nut to bring you around or you'd get lost.

My, Selangor alone is huge & the scale of development! Saw Naza's Mall where literally thousands of new cars/bikes for sale, parked under a huge "Convention centre" & an MC12+Enzo seats right in front. For those who don't know, Naza is a Malaysian Co that does PI & agent for cars/exotic bikes including assembling their own brand under license. I think the latest is a Peugeot 206 with a Naza badge.

 

Some pics of my TR "getting there", thanks to Harold on the smoked lens. They look fantastic & improves the look dramatically esp. the rear, now we get the completely blacken rear, cool. I'm waiting to get the brake calipers in yellow while the new engine cover goes up. Some new rubber bushes will be changed as well. I'll save up for the GruppeM intake which will finalise the look but now that interior looks a little dated

Hey Fong, was surprised by your visit as well. Lots of things to learn from you now. I was thinking of dropping by Klang for the Ba kut teh yesterday! Anyway, I'll be back to KL in a few week's time. Not sure if it's your cup of tea but I saw a set of R34 LED type rear lens for sale @ a shop in Sungei Wang.

Just saw your photos. Ah.. thE 356 ... (in the background) and the silver shadow corniche (Is that car for sale ?).

On classics, I saw the 190 SL you mentioned as well - both in the workshop and on the road (speeding on the SLE) - Been looking at Pagodas myself

Also heard that there is a silver V12 E type cruising about somewhere. Its not a classic plate apparently. Any idea who owns it ? I thought all the E types were on classic plate except for the black drop head - Saw the 850 at Autobahn - they seem to have difficulty selling it - believe car needs work - shame its not as nice as the red 850 csi from a while back.

ohh...led lights are nice, esp now the car is in a dark color. I might pick them up. Do you know how much they want for it?

Tuck, my TR's tax is running while it sat for two months! 911 still stuck like a leech, I thought might as well fix it up nicely & keep the GT3 seat maybe for a next 911. You guys read today's paper on insurance for exotics? Thank goodness we have a thing called NCB.

Synergyx, it was a Sunday breakfast cum drive few weeks ago. About 13 cars? & few very young owners.

CT, I heard that Corniche is a pet to a famous lawyer here. Maybe get a nice 70s Shadow, closest kin & still English handmade. I saw a white one @ Bt Bintang in KL. Road tax is a sweet $16.8k here so I think a Pagoda is wise.
